  1. So Delicious Coconut milk has calcium and is really good. You could try that.
  2. Sometimes we just don't know what could have gotten us since reactions can be delayed. When you have been glutened, sometimes it helps to eat nothing processed until you start feeling better. Beans may cause gas but they wont cause you to be glutened though. I wouldn't worry about that. Maybe try eating some baked chicken and a sweet potato or some...
  3. I had elevated liver enzymes when I was diagnosed. It's a hallmark symptom of celiac. The fevers I run when glutened same thing with your stool issues. It sounds to me like you were glutened!! I would lay off of those fries and make your own. Just peel some potatoes cut into pieces and put in a bag with some oil and shake it up then just bake at 425 until...
  4. Do you think that this recipe would work with canned tomatoes? How many romas would I need if I use fresh? Last time I tried to use romas, my sauce was pink!
  5. Thanks everyone! I can't wait to buy some cookies tomorrow. Thanks for the recipes too. I have a really hard time baking anything because I live in a very high altitude at 8500 feet nothing comes out right and gets stale very quickly. I know that there are things that you can add for high altitude baking like corn starch but I just can not figure...
  6. That sauce sounds amazing and as soon as I can buy fresh tomatoes I will make it!!! The tomatoes here right now are very very mealy and grainy. So for right now until I can get fresh, I have to use canned tomato products. I'm going to print out your recipe and save it for later. Thanks
  7. Does anyone have a good recipe for a homemade sauce to put over gluten free noodles? I am thinking about using tomato sauce and paste? Is Contadina a good brand or Hunts or there is an organic one at my store too. I have no idea which to use. I am thinking garlic and oregano and basil too. Any ideas?
  8. I bought the vanilla coffee creamer! WOW is all I can say. SO yummy I could drink it by itself.
  9. Thanks everyone! I'm headed to a bigger town this weekend for a trip to Whole Foods. Hopefully they will have some of these cookies there.
  10. Same here with the low temp. Blows that we have to deal with this but it really is comforting to know that we are not alone in it all. Do you ever get DH on your scalp? MIne is now coming down my forehead. I look and feel awful.
  11. I buy a lot of fish from Costco. I have never seen that brand BUT, if the label says that it only contains salmon and nothing else and that it is wild caught, I would eat it. They don't have gluten in these frozen fish factories. Just fish.

Darkfire, what is kids makeup? Is it a brand? Thanks
  13. I think that I am eating totally gluten free. I only eat a few processed things that are gluten free. I guess it just takes tine for the dh to go away. I appreciate all of the help. Do any of you not feel well when the DH is really going? I'm just really tired and achy and have no energy.
  14. Costco has some Lets Eat Pastry organic chocolate chip cookie dough that is certified gluten free. When you turn it over to read the ingredients in tiny tiny letters it says made on shared equipment with wheat.....I returned it. Its not worth it to me.
  15. I have noticed that more and more lately. Things that use to be labeled as gluten free no longer say gluten free anymore. Very annoying.
  16. Thanks everyone!! I'm going to try your suggestions. Hopefully I can get some relief.

When money isn't so tight, I will have to order some Afterglow. It looks great. For now I am using Neutrogena tinted moisturizer. It's so so.
  18. I haven't tried low iodine yet....It sounds next to impossible. Isn't there salt in everything? I will if I have to though.
  19. I really like homemade popcorn, Mission corn chips and Pace salsa. Betty Crocker cookies, brownies and cake are great and so are the betty crocker frostings. Skittles, Lays Stax chips. I could go on and on...
  20. I'm looking for a new "milk". Has anyone tried these products and are they worth the money? I saw some So Delicious Coconut milk french vanilla coffee creamer. Sounds great but it's over 3 dollars. How are these products? I saw that they are certified gluten-free.
  21. The title pretty much says it all! I'm looking for a GOOD store bought cookie. A sandwich cookie would be nice. I made a batch of Betty Crocker gluten free chocolate chip cookies and they were pretty good but I am not a huge fan of chocolate. Nut free too please.
  22. Ok so the bleeding DH on my back is pretty much scabbed over but now it is ALL over my chest and shoulders and some on my face cheeks and rear cheeks. I am not eating gluten..unless I am being CC somehow. It burns so badly, I can't wear a bra and my shirt actually hurts that it makes me cry. If I am not eating gluten, why the DH, I don't get it.
  23. I've looked at the grocery store in town and at Wal-mart neither had them. Does anyone know?

What do you all use for makeup if any? I was using this one kind but I think it's making things worse. I read about Afterglow Cosmetics. They look great but pricey. I don't need a lot, just a light foundation or a tinted moisturizer or something. I've been using Carmex on my lips which seems to be great but my face with dh on my cheek looks kind of bad...
  25. I've managed to scratch my DH that is all over my back at night and now it is itchy AND bleeding. Nothing like having a bleeding back! UGH. Any ideas on what I can do for this?
