ARCHIVED Can We Have Hypoglycemia And Celiac?
mommyto2kids replied to mommyto2kids's topic in Super Sensitive People
One hates to go to the Dr. after we've lived there for so long. I was having some vertigo symptoms and saw a physical therapist and that helped some. This feels more like fatigue related to eating. My question for Peter is if we are eating gluten-free, how is it related to celiac then? I hard boiled some eggs today. My family already ate half of them. So... -
I get so lightheaded every 2 hours, especially if I work out. I bring snacks to the gym. It is kind of rediculous to be working out and eating so much, but I don't know what else to do if I feel faint so easily. What should I eat if I get hungry easily and then feel faint? It is very hot here, refrigeration is difficult for long mornings with kids at the...

ARCHIVED What Do You Think Would Help Me In The Morning, Kind Of Gross?
mommyto2kids replied to mommyto2kids's topic in Super Sensitive People
I know coffee does me in and I need to get rid of it. It is just so hard. Thanks for your ideas. What should I eat for breakfast to try to lesson this situation? Is there a good gluten-free cereal or I just have no clue. I have to eat some fiber because I had a precancerous polup2 years before my celiac diagnosis. That Dr. told me I should be eating more... -
ARCHIVED What Do You Think Would Help Me In The Morning, Kind Of Gross?

I don't think it is gluten. It is kind of embarassing to ask, but I have to go number 2 3 times after I wake up. Is there something I could do, eat differently so I only have to do this once? It is holding me back from going back to work. I'm a school sub and you can't go to the bathroom if you sub and I don't want to say I can work until I can figure out... -

mommyto2kids posted a topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
He is 8 and was tested last fall for celiac since I found out last year I have it. Son had a bad stomach ache yesterday. They are random. They appear in the afternoon and when he is more tired. Lots of times before swim practice or during. He appears like he is telling the truth. He thinks he has one. Sometimes he does not want to swim I know. Any thoughts... -

We had rootbeer floats tonight, all from the dollar store. Some people say the dollar store food is junk, but if I don't get sick, I don't care. -

ARCHIVED Can We Have Ibs As Well As Celiac?
mommyto2kids posted a topic in Related Issues & Disorders
Lately I've had IBS symptoms as well as Celiac? Have many people posted about that? I have lots of trouble in the morning after I eat a bowl of cereal. I just want to be nornal. As soon as I get in a car in the morning I feel like I have to go. Makes no sense. I don't know how to handle that, I was doing so good for so long. I don't know if my old csection... -
The staff of GIG was against it. I recieved something about an insignia that went with this gluten-free pizza that they at GIG were against. I had trouble following it. Maybe this letter is on their web site.

We went to Outback on Mother's day. I ordered the gluten-free mahimahi, but the waiter brought me the wrong one with a noodle rice thing on it. I took a small bite, stupid I know and now today I barely made it to my kid's school this morning. I had to stop and bring them into CVS to poop. Is this common to have a reaction 3 days later and when should I...

My husband's smart phone said that cornstarch sometimes has wheat added as a binder but will list it as an ingrediant. Do you think this is true? -
ARCHIVED Is Corn Starch gluten-free?
mommyto2kids replied to mommyto2kids's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I had brought my own gluten-free soy sauce. I was just wondering if there was a rule of thumb of corn starches. He said they use it in bulk so throw out the container. It seemed ok. Yes maybe I did risk, but he thought it was gluten-free. Good idea so ask a manager. I can always eat it plain I know. -
ARCHIVED Is Corn Starch gluten-free?
mommyto2kids posted a topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
We went out to Chinese last night and I ordered something with a white sauce that was made from corn starch. They had thrown out the container, so what do you think? Was the corn starch gluten-free?My husband's smart phone said it was probably safe but may have wheat added as a thickener. Does anyone know? Also how about bottled sweet and sauer sauce? They... -

ARCHIVED Wishbone Fat Free Ranch
mommyto2kids replied to mommyto2kids's topic in Gluten-Free Restaurants
Thanks for your thoughts. I'm going to return it or throw it away and probably not eat frys for a while. Something went wrong between the dressing, frys and salad. I'm better today, but feel a bladder problem which I feel when I have a reaction with the d. No fun, hope it passes soon. -
Is there something in there that can cause d.?I had the d bad after we went out to Red Robin. I brought the dressing with me and put it on my frys. I don't usually get sick from the frys. So does anyone know if there is an ingrediant in this fat free dressing that can cause d.? Thanks very much.
