  2. Just a word of caution here. I tried this product. When I went gluten-free I figured I needed as much help as I could get with digestion. But I made the mistake of ordering the full size product instead of their trial size. It was expensive and I did not think I would have a problem with it since it states Does not contain: wheat, gluten, milk, casein,soy...
  3. After I posted and reread my reply , it sounded like I was slamming the brands of bread that were mentioned. I don't want to do that, since I am thankful that there are alternatives out there. So I guess what I should say, is it is all about individual taste, some may like the breads some may not. In fact I have a friend who buys the Food for life -rice bread...
  4. I am glad the subject of tortillas came up. I do miss the good ole flour tortilla but I have been using corn ones instead (as far as I know no allergies to corn). I bought a store brand manufactured by: Albuquerque Tortilla co. They are a little dry for wraps, but I have been slicing them up and putting a little olive oil on them and sprinkling them with...

  6. I was able to verify that this is indeed gluten free (thanks again for the contact info). Geneva has been bought by Norvatis. 8. I too suffer from fibromyalgia (and frankly a whole host of other stuff too!). I am a little discouraged after reading these post, I have only been gluten free for a month but was hoping that the diet would help to restore me and eventually reverse the fibro symptoms. I have heard of other people getting better (honestly ) So, those who have fibro...

  21. Hey Michelle, You are our resident researcher here!!! Great informative articles. Now if I only I could get some of the doctors to read it. Thanks, Bette
  22. Okay, I am not doctor bashing here. But am a little leary about them as I walk through this battlefield of Celiac disease vs. gluten intolerance, and of host of a lot of other illnesses that I have had though the years. This is an article, ( a little tongue in cheek) that was discussed on hsi community talk forums. Buy a Kitchen Knife Now! ...
