    This is not like other years, I'm catering to a bunch of kids who don't eat that well ever, it's very difficult to understand. If I put out veges, like I have done in previous years, not only would my daughter be bullied at school, the food would be completely wasted, possibly thrown at others and all around the yard.     My daughter's birthday party is next weekend. We're vegan, but I have decided this year to include non-vegan options because it's a whole class party with some of the parents staying, but of course everything will be gluten free to avoid cross contamination. So far I have: Corn chips and salsa Home made biscuits Lollies from the local specialty store...

    Yep, been drinking, think I had a bit much. Off to bed now, but wanted to kow what do you drink and how much and how often? I've been incresing alcohol consumption lately.

    Weight Watchers Spinach and Pumpkin Rissotto is gluten free, might have mentioned it but worth mentioning again. It's not vegan so I don't know what it tastes like, but nobody I know has had a problem

    Today my daughter took: Corn on the cob Home made bread roll with grated carrot, shredded lettuce and sliced mushrooms Leda Mintons x 2 Banana Apple That does her for school, she has a big breakfast and has a sandwich in the afternoon.

    Yes, that would be very fitting. I wrote a facebook status recently that said I'm broken, torn and my soul destroyed, but one day I will be whole again, like a phoenix rising from the ashes.

    I'd like to get a tattoo but not sure what to get. Something meaningful, something relating to surviving 2012 and coming out of it strong. Anyone have any ideas to throw at me?

    It didn't turn out very vivid. She said it's hard to tell how it will be in the end, sometimes really vivid, sometimes not. She offered to do it again to make it brighter but I didn't want that.

    There are no known nut allergy children at the school (70 children over 8 year levels, not a big school) but I'm still funny about nuts in environments like that.

    Yes there are veggies, but at her new school I do wonder how many would know what celery is. Culture shock.

    So I was just handed a note by my daughter who forgot to give it to me yesterday. On Thursday, her class will be having a class party that they won because they have a high percentage of children eating healthy food for breakfast. Makes no sense to me, the kids are eating well so we'll give them junk? Anyway, each child needs to bring in a plate of food...

    Having it cut and layered with blue and purple foils, since I'm not currently employed by the education department Just had to share. I was all paranoid about head lice so did the whole head lice treatment tonight to make sure. Anyone else get paranoid?

    I'm having trouble eating lately so the poor child is getting all sorts of random things and not following the menu plan. Tonight it was the same as last night because I put some aside for my lunch and didn't eat it so didn't cook tonight and reheated that for her.

    I was coming in to say there's only one, and this is it! My dog was given it, he's a dog, he eats anything he can get to. He was wagging his little tail when I put it in his bowl, came running over, ate a little then looked at me with sad eyes like he was asking me why I was trying to kill him. I thought maybe the can had been left in the heat or something...

    We were going to have tacos, but I had a rough day so the child had leftovers and I had wine. Tacos for tomorrow night now.

    O'Brien's beer is gluten free as well, it's a heavy beer. I've had a bottle of red this evening, time for bed now
