  1. My chiro actually had me on Gastro ULC by Apex Energetics. I went through 2 bottles of it and still tested positive for h. Pylori. I'm already done with the Prevpac. I was thinking of asking to go back on the gastro ULC just to help heal everything and hopefully finish off anything the Prevpac didn't. I'm taking probiotics. I probably need a better one though...
  2. I've been taking probiotics each day. I just hope I got rid of it. Now I have to get my husband to get looked at. :/ He hates going to the dr is always finding an excuse.
  3. I tested positive for H. Pylori with my chiro. He gave me supplements but after a while told me to have my pcp check me again. I tested positive and was put on a Prevpac. I've never had ulcer type tummy troubles. The first day I took the Prevpac I felt like I had been punched in the stomach. I've also had a horrible taste in my mouth. Another symptom I seem...
  4. Just found out I need B12 and Iron. I'm already on Thyroid and Vitamin D and will be on some form of DHA/EPA and omegas soon. How should I be spacing these out and when is the best time to take them? I'm taking my Thyroid in the morning now because it was keeping me up at night. Thanks!
  5. I had been following a detox diet after my first fast and after it was over I kept my diet similar to it. I would eat some turkey or chicken with some berries, protein shake with some nuts or seeds for a snack, a salad or chicken or turkey with a vegetable for lunch sometimes some hummus also, piece of fruit and a protein shake for another snack, then for...
  6. Before a bomb could go off while I was sleeping and I wouldn't hear it. Now I don't feel as though I'm getting into that deep sleep anymore. Let me know how your approach works! If I find any other ideas I'll put them on here
  7. Are you able to use the egg replacements? I don't know much about them. Hope you find something!
  8. I know what you're going through!!! This is giving me such a hard time and is so confusing and frustrating. I woke up with a bs of 83 this morning. I thought in the 80's was ok but I feel a little "off" and hungry! Lol Yesterday when I woke up it was 66. Felt like crap and an emotional wreck! Hopefully we can get some answers! If you need to talk let me...
  9. Thank you for your reply. Is it ok to pig out on protein before bed? Lol I'm fine at work with the food I take but as soon as I get home I want food. I don't even think I feel it in my stomach though. It's my mind telling me EAT!!! I get kinda pushy about it too lol I need to find something that is ok to pig out on that isn't going to screw with my bs or...
  10. Well for a while I was eating chicken, turkey, carrots, spinach, strawberries, blueberries, apples, peaches, honeydew, olives, broccoli, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, and protein shakes. I was doing ok but not 100%. As you can imagine I've gotten bored. My wellness dr wanted me to fast again cos I started craving sugar. So I fasted and it was around...
  11. Ok gluten-free and dairy free. Had a few df booboos recently but didn't feel bad from it. Anyways my wellness dr said I have hashimoto's and am on 45mg of compounded Thyroid. A few months ago I had a gtt test. Results: GTT Glucose Fasting: 71.2 Glucose 1 hr post load: 185.0 Glucose 2 hr post load: 177.0 Insulin: <2 Lately I still feel...
  12. I'm not in school anymore but I can tell you I had trouble concentrating. I would listen to everything the teacher said and as soon as she gave me an assignment it's like I had been listening to her on mute. I remember in the second grade a teacher was explaining how to do a math problem and called me up to the board. I had no idea how to do it. People tell...
  13. Were you asking me or Gemini? Cos we both have low morning cortisol. Mine would get slightly elevated in the afternoon then go to normal. I don't believe I've had my adrenals tested. I really don't want to add to my list of problems I know it's important to get everything fixed though I was just hoping to have all of this fixed by now
  14. If I eat corn I'm ok but if I eat something made from corn (bread) or something like medication my tummy doesn't like it. The generic armour had corn so I just have it compounded so I don't have to worry Hopefully you'll find something
  15. I would always take forever to get ready and became self-conscious cause people would always make jokes about how I was going to make everyone run late I've gotten a lot better though. I wish I could just work evenings at work but I hardly see my husband enough as it is. He's been real supportive through all of this. I'm glad he doesn't just see me as lazy...
  16. I've heard that only two of the powerade flavors are gluten free. You may want to switch drinks or check which flavors are the gluten-free ones. Good luck!
  17. Try Yesterday's News. There's a brand called Exquisicat that makes litter out of pine, corn, wheat, and paper. Not all in one! Lol I've been using the pine one and it smells good too You can find them at Petsmart. good luck to you and your kitty(s). And yes some people have reactions just from touching gluten.
  18. Have you been following me down and writing the way I feel? Lol That sounds just like me! When I started with the 30mg about 3 weeks ago I've been fine. I felt I could feel better but pretty good. Then bam! Like you said. All of a sudden I'm just exhausted. I have low morning cortisol also (night owl too) and the dr had me on supplements for that also. I...
  19. They are starting to find that people of different ethnicities can have this problem. And people in America have all sorts of backgrounds. They shouldn't be using skin color to determine celiac. Maybe try typing in different races then celiac or gluten intolerance in a search engine. Find articles that come from reputable sources and take them to the dr. If...
  20. The PA actually called me himself this morning and told me to stick with 30mg but take 45mg on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've only been taking the 45mg for 3 days so I think I'm going to try what he said and see how it goes. Hopefully things will start to level out soon. I hope you have a nice trip! It's nice to visit family you haven't seen in a while...
  21. Is it normal to feel "off" when you're changing doses? My head still feels a little funny at times and my body is weak. It's like when you've been sick then you feel better but as soon as you try to do something you feel winded and sluggish.
  22. I called the office again and still nothing. I'm thinking of actually going to the office tomorrow. I'm just worried my insurance may not cover it since it's compounded. Yeah my TSH was around 5.something then dropped to 1.3something after levo but still didnt feel that great. In April my TSH was 2 and my t3 was at the lower end of the range. Also considered...
  23. Aaaww I'm glad I could make you feel a little better You always help me on here and I appreciate it! Being dizzy sucks I hope you're feeling better! At least you're on vacation. That always helps have you been to this naturopath before? Do you like seeing them? Are they able to prescribe thyroid meds? Sorry for all the questions lol Where are...
  24. Is there anyway to test and see if you're in peri menopause? Sorry if that's a dumb question. I'm not sure how that works. Just keep looking for answers. I know its frustrating. I keep thinking were things really that bad to go through all of this? I just have to keep believing it will be worth it. I keep wanting to give up and stop taking thyroid medication...
  25. I think most of us have done this at one time or another. It should be ok and if not screw it I have a craving! Then gluten or dairy reminds you who's boss! Lol Just let it be a reminder for next time. It happens. Drink a bunch of water (don't know if it helps but I tell myself it does). I hope you feel better! If you live in New York you have so many...
