  1. Umm, I do no think its a good plan. Try this sentence.. My gluten-free has doctor that gave her a celiac disease. G F in this case means GIRLFRIEND and C D means COMPACT DISK. When its typed in the board changes all G F (with out space) to gluten-free and all C D(without space) to celiac disease and in many cases thats going to be annoying, esply...
  2. You never can tell where I might show, and where I might not show... I prefer it that way.
  3. I realy want to reply, but you quailifed it with "dignified" and I am stuggling with that...
  4. In march I need to get my yearly MUGA scan. For thouse that dont know, they inject you with radioactive goo and then stick you under a massive camera to see what happens. Since its injected and not passing via the digestive system do i ahve to worry about gluten?
  5. McDonalds fries contian wheat, wheat is posion to me and my son, so theres no way I would eat them, nor my son. Here in Nashville, TN we do not belive in intentionaly eating posion.
  6. OKAY FINE! I just made them. Well, I modified them with the stand oil/water/bp exchange for egg, and I used Canole oil. Couple of minor tips... 1) I did not mess around with cutting a "hole" in mine. THe dough is like playdough, I just mande them doughnut shaped to start with. 2) when you put some cornstarch down on what ever you use (I used...
  7. I was a short order cook for a while, and waiter, and I can say with certinity if that truly happened, you were in danager of losing your licnse to operate. True some resturants are nasty and get away with alot till they are finally caught (well sually turned in), but for the most part its not realy like that.
  8. Well acording to : https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-10106112945.a6 a 50 pound child (22.67kg) would need to eat around 2/3rds of a gram of gluten every day, for a couple of months to show up on teh blood tests. If you only eat the fries 1 or 2 times a week, I highly doubt it would show up on the blood tests. Or at least that is my understanding...

  10. This is just FYI, figure I would share the reply they sent me...
  11. Most ppl here seem to be suggesting soy milk, so then, anyone know if 8th continent is gluten-free? Thier site is about useless.
  12. Unless she was eating a HUGE quantity of fries, I doubt they would show anything. Your gluten in take has to be pretty high to trip the blood tests.
  13. Just cause a product says "Lactose free" does not mean its dariy free right? So that would not work right? I am think about casin too.
  14. PHEW! Okay Thanks!
  15. Just FYI I emailed Clan Thomson too, but I dont know if they will reply to me since Im not a customer at this time.
  16. Okay I want to do a trial of dariy free for a little bit and see what happens (I still have some GI issues, but I dunno how long its been since my last glutening) I got one doughnut from Kinkininck left that I plan to eat first thought! but AFTER that. I need to find a reaplcement milk to use in my frutiy pebbles. What milks (amlond, soy, what ever...) are...
  17. Well this is the ODD PART. McDondals does not actualy fall under this law as I understand it. It only applies to prepackaged foods. As for Canada... I would assume they have the same fries since McDondals is very admanet about its frie recipe not changing.
  18. When I called I also asked about changes to the forumla and the nice lady told me there was nothing in the system about the forumla being changed. She seemed knowledge about about gluten at least.

  22. Well, I REALY aprecaite you posting this, and I plan to check with post/kraft my self directly as soon as I can. IF true I need to know ASAP. It could simply be that they are planing a formula chnage and its not hit the shelves yet...
  23. Umm, that cant be, unless they changed the ingredients from the boxes I have in my kitchen right now. I check the ingreditenst everytime I by it. Coco Pebles Frutiy Pebles And post is a KRAFT company, they would disclose wheat.
  24. Yes, I think you nailed it perfeclty. But as Karen states, McDonalds has calimed they have a magical fryer (the tell some ppl frier, some ppl processing) that can remove gluten from food. Upon question they refuse to give out any information on how this magical frier works, and offer no proof that the gluten is removed making it confisinng for some...
