  4. *sighs* MCD could have aviod all of this with just a smarter PR person writing a press release before changing the website, something "FOR IMDEDIATE RELEASE: MCD has recently learned there is a risk that our fries have potential allergens from wheat and dairy in them and are working with the Univ of Neb to determine either way for sure. We are commited to...
  5. I hope I am. But in my experence thats how its normally handled... just enough lip service to make it look good, and it goes away.
  6. If it does, I'll send you my kroger's address

  9. Seems like EVERY post here on 8th Continent was "is it gluten-free" or one person post "I think it might be", so figure its about time (posts goign back TWO YEARS with no answer) that the answer get posted. Here: 8th Continent is lactose-free, gluten-free, casein-free and Kosher. (src: Open Original Shared Link )
  10. They are not gluten-free, not 100% at least, as quotes above they follow the codex standard fof 200ppm, so anyone on the extra sensitive side will react. I personal am not healed enought to know.
  11. I doubt your gonna get one. They will likely stall on this till it goes away, and probably are willing to accept the loss of business.
  12. I would call your doc today and talk to him about celiac disease. I would not wait a couple months. If it is celiac disease he needs treatment NOW (treatment being gluten-free diet) not in a few months. Thats just my opinion.
  13. Exactly, as I said "we have no reason to believe they are gluten-free" All we know for sure is the flavoring is wheat based, so with lack of good reason to call that flavor gluten-free, comon sense ditactes we assume it is not gluten free.
  14. Well, how clean is your partner? If he had crumbs on him and you kissed (or etc) that area, you would very easily get gluten.
  15. I ment to say thanks for the info on the oil! THat good to know.
  16. So we still have no reaosn to believe the fries are gluten-free. Thanks for hte info!
  17. Well dang, tell our McDonalds to import the oil then! Seesh!
  18. Heck Im not even a client, and I emailed them about this pebbles mix up (turns out Clan Thompson got bad info, i posted thier reply else where) and got a reply back very fast. A real reply too, not a "shut up and go a way" type reply. I need look up how much they charge...
  19. Thats basicly the opion of almost all of us
  20. We get them at Kroger (normal food store), but they are actaully cheaper at Wild Oats... just dont get out there much.
  21. Cool! I will have to look that up and see what it is.
  22. (Im probably hypogylemic, but not tested for it, sick of testing!) (430am)Breakfast: Umm I have to keep this simple, takes me a long time to wake up. So normaly Fruity or Cocoa pebles and coffee (all prepaired the night before). (7 or 8am) 2nd breakfast : Muffin, doughnut, or somthing fo that nature (gluten-free ODVIOUSLY! ) (10am )1st lunch...
  23. If you have it, DEFINTILY WITH OUT QUESTION test all your childern. That being said my son (whose 2 1/2 now) started off in the 105th % (for height/wieght) and slowly fell to the 80's and who knows where he was headed. He had what we thought was sever acid reflux, spit up constantly (occasionlay BLOOD), threw up fairly regualrly, 5-7 bouts of D a day...
  24. Before you do , you better check with who ever does your taxes, its been siad many times here that the IRS considers it a redflag for auditing.
  25. Short answer, 2-3 pices of gluten bread per day for 2-3 months. Long answer : https://www.celiac.com/st_prod.html?p_prodi...-54106397918.0a That being siad, if eaten gluten makes here sick, then forget the test and stop eating gluten.
