  1. My respect for MCD's just went up at least 3 notches!
  2. Already reaplced all my bakeware, and all my cookware. Ugh, I need sell more books if this keeps up!
  3. The best case senieror for McDonalds here makes thier PR department look alike a bunch of idiots. The worst case is they are truly evil. After much though, I think stupidity played the biggest part in this. Thats my personal opinion, and you will need to decide for yourself. As for me, my son does DOES react to thier fires, so I would be hypocrital evil...
  4. Only an engineer would be satified with "enough" as a form of measure Can he put a range on it? Like not less then 20 trips through a diswasher? UGh: all my joints hurt, nasues, light headed, ugh had to focus ehough to figure this out.
  5. Question.. do these incidents happen to happen near gluten/etc ingestion?
  6. (taken from the first post in this thread )
  7. Hey, my aswer was just as serious as your question!

So now Superdad sposed to sweep in and save the day right with trumpts blaring, but NO CAPE (Mr Incredible refernce sorry)! RIGHT!?! UGH So why do I feel like I am glunted!?!? Cant be superdad like this! Worse part about it, I ate...
  9. No, if you siad Idaho or somthing with reguard to potateos maybe, but I higly doubt theres neough wheat here in play to make that much of a dif.
  10. Kellogg's Rice Krispies are NOT gluten-free . Sorry.
  11. That came out BEFORE the testing. ALl the support that I have seen from the celiac disease folks came out AFTER the gluten testing. Big difference there.
  12. Hmm big change in this vote from the previous one which was almost 100% no.
  13. (some more info) JSUT SHARING WHAT I WAS SENT BY THE LOCAL celiac disease GROUP.
  14. Based on this new info, share your vote and view. This way the votes are anonomus and if you do not want to risk getting flamed, then just vote and dont tell anyone.
  15. The more this comes out , the more my postion is changing on this matter, from "HA! I KNEW THEY LIED!" (after all intial reactions are often wrong) to, "THEY WERE LIED TO" and now to "MAN WHO EVER IS IN CHARGE OF THIER RELEASES HANDLED THIS IN ABOUT THE WORST WAY POSSIBLE" My only problem currently has to do with the lack of info on "how" the gluten is...
  16. I have not heard of this Doctor, is he a legit source?
  17. If the fries had a very large amount of gluten then yes. But even if (and McD's now states otherwise) the fries had the small amount of gluten that would be passed from a flavoring, it would likely NOT show up in a blood test. You need at least 0.3 g/kg/day for two mounths. Not twice a week, EVERY DAY for two months.
  18. I would doubt that for 2 reason.. 1) Only that one scource has it, as you mention. 2) McDondals still lists the fries as NOT gluten free. IF that was true, they likly would have changed that.
  19. THATS what we all been wanting. Hope they publish the results!
  20. Yea lal the talk here has me nervous about buying them, though I have not reacted (trb is I do not think I am nearly healed enough to know) yet to my chololate chip gluten-free pancakes.
  21. Well one think you could do, is orgazine all the major celiac disease groups, and get the word out to all the members that a class action lawsuit is bad for us. Then maybe get them to sign some legal breif teh MCD's lawyers could use in thier defense. Maybe? I dunno nutin about this stuff.
  22. I use Mozilla Firefox on my Linux desktop with out problems. In theroy that should not matter.
  23. There will only be one real loser in this, thanks to these lawsuits, US the ppl that have celiac disease. In then end WE ALL LOOSE. Stop and think beyond this case to what it will bring. You do not win companies over to our cuase by attacking them, no more then you win friends that way.
  24. In addtion to that line from their web site I had also emailed them and heres thier reply Thats one of the better informed replies I have gotten!
  25. No that has always been that way, they only put the gluten-free labe on in some markets. Mine bear the lable here (but we only get regular).
