How ever if you call they calim that some magic procedure they have in processing that they refuse to explain will some how magicly make the fries gluten free, but they will not put it in writing nor will they test thier products to see if they are gluten-free.   4. Yea that looks just like mine, but I all I use it for is frying. Since you got a frier, you should try dep fried hotdogs! I used the Kinininick Breading and cut oscar myer dogs in 1/3rds, breaded then droped (GENTLY!) in to 400 degree oil for like a min or so till dark. Was very tastry. Bewarned though the oil wont realy be usable for fries after that, unless...
  5. Mine has a basket, temp adjuster and is 6 quarts. Did you look at the link I pasetd above? I would argee it be a PITB with out the basket though! Did not know them made them like that. Seems stupid.
  6. Umm why would there be .02% of malt in it? What could that possibly do to the drink (besides make it unsafe for us? )
  7. I have though alot on this and theres realy only conculusion I can come up with. I refuse to life in fear. If I get burned some place (like mcdonalds) I will aviod that place, food, what ever, and stay away from odviosuly stupid places (high gluten envrioments like dunkin doughnuts), but beyond that I will take my chances.
  8. You do not need carbs to be happy, however you can get addicted to carbs and go through withdrawl. Ppl that do the low card diets have to face that in the beginig, but its only temporary.

  12. I must say I had never considered them a possiblity before, and if not for this specail church even probably never would have gone.   13. Ezekail is made with "normal" wheat (aka full of gluten), just spospedly follows a recipe found in The Bible. I hope that is not what this lady was refering to. Do you think she ment: Open Original Shared Link ?
  14. Oh I agree, if your comfrotable with Mcdonalds saying there is gluten in the fries, but believe it to be low enough not to bother you (ingoring CC), then go head and eat them. In the ned its YOUR body, and has to be your descion. Personly, my son has never not reacted to them and I refuse to do that to him, myself... I never had them while being gluten...

  16. We have a 6qt Deep Fryer by Presto that we got at Walmart. It works perfectly and will steam veggie too, not that we ever do LOL. I did not research it, I bought it purely based on price/size and been happy with it.

POSTION ONE "I trust McDondals" PROBLEM - Thier Website says fries contain GLUTEN, not only wheat, but gluten specficly. It says it is in the "Natural Flavoring" .   19. In the end, their US website says the fries contain gluten; beyond that everything else is upfor debate, you will have to make that call for yourself, and I suggest you aviod them.

  21. Splenda is gluten free. But get ready for all the anit-splenda croud to come in and try to scare you with talk about cholirne and etc. You should know that some ppl do have a reaction to Splenda thats GI in nature but not related to gluten or celiac disease.
  22. Grandparents can be a dif story all together. Some ppl here have prolems with grandparents not takeing celiac disease seriously, but I am aussiming thats not the normal case. You might list them what she currently eats and likes. That would be a good place ot start. Beyond that any fruit, veggie, meat or dariy that is 100% pure with nothing added should...

  24. Well changing the world "gluten" to posion does not change the question for me at all, cause they are synomus to us. The question is how much of this is jsut silly CYA where there realy is no real CC chance.
