  1. As I struggle to learn a second language, and teach my son both of the langauges, it amazes me how often we use words and realy can not define them. I will say something in American English and then try to translate it, thne realize I do not know how to explain what I just said! Am I alone with this? It is excedingly odd.

  12. Well thats odd, I mean its labeld on the box for all to see.
  13. WEll the great thing about cocoa puffs was more of the snack factor then the breakfast factor. THey work great in a ziplog bag in a shopping cart/car seat/etc. Travel very well, and make almost no mess. Not the only food of course, but anyone that has a toddler can tell you how hard it is to get them to tyr noew foods!
  14. From what I understand it also dates back to the days men wore suits of armor because it provided a layer of padding on the bakc of the neck where the helmet and neck hole meet, with out getting in the eyes. . A candian friend of mine always called it Hockey hair.

  17. I kind of jsut ended up with a mullet. I did cut it once whenI took a job as a manager at office depot. That was umm 1999 or so.... My MIL who does not like long hair on men (of course!) said about me with short hair "Its just not you!" heheh BTW- The job was a easy, but pay was crumy, not realy worthy of a hair cut!
  18. As a forum admin of an active board using this same software I have this adivce based on the above posts. 1) Update the existing FAQ, esply with reguards to orangization and clarity (I bet most of you did not even read it...) 2) Stop using pin'd for approved topics. It has no effect since most ppl just use "View New Messages". Assume all posts are...

  20. Hmm mine is very borring. When I was in 9th grade I had to write a story about an alien that visited the Earth, so I named him by randomly iserting and removing letters from my frist name and came up with "Vydor". Later I wanted to regesiter on an astronomy forum, but my name was to short, so I added "Scope" to the end of it (which is comon slang for a telescope...
  21. IMO (and I am not a doctor) the bispoy test for celiac disease is a complete and total waste of time and money. I do not need fancy papers to come to this conclusion, just every day common sense. Bisopy is never, ever, negative. It can never, ever rule out celiac disease, it can only confirm it. The confusion comes from english use of the word "negative...

  23. As for the tubes... we did try antibotics first, and they had no effect at all.. he almost lost his hearing, permenantly. The tubs saved him from that, bearly in time. I know they can get clog, and we have them check ever time we are in a doc's office and so fat so good... last check what his 3 year check up, in mid August.
  24. In the course of most of our days, most ppl we meet in our daily offline lives will tend to agree with us over all... after it is normally simular likes/tastes/etc that draw ppl. On a forum like this one where the "comon factor" that brings us together is unrelated (for the most part) to personal tastes, and instead is a heath issue, we tend to come face...
