  1. Rach... Dave is still playing the game... enough said. BTW you see my question about fillings? You story has me wondering a few things....
  2. Yes it is stupid, but if you were to look it up in the magical all powerfull diagnostic hand book you would see that in America it is that way. Other countries have different opinions on it, and even many docs in this country do, but most just use the "gold standard" out of fear of law suite. This way they can point to document and say "see! I did exacltyt...
  3. Once my son out grows his egg allergy (Im gonna belive he will till it happends, I die, or Jesus returns, which ever comes first ) I plan to try some of these varitions, esply the one with brown sugar!! Sounds yummy!! (we used ot make the egg/pb/sugar ones all the time...)
  4. Some times some one, esply adluts with celiac disease has secondary intolerences (esply milk!) because of the damage done to thier body by the gluten response. And in those cases, most of the time, after the body has healed they can SLOWLY reintorduce the foods and be okay with them. Only time will tell for sure...
  5. My opinion only, and Im not a doc, nor at this time plan to be one... celiac disease is only considered dx'd IF and ONLY IF there is already damage done. If you think about that for a min, that realy means you waited to long to go gluten-free. Gluten intolerent, Gluten Insensitive, and others are just labels tossed on ppl that , IMO, have celiac disease...
  6. This thread is mainly us helping each other with very serious health issues and occasional humor side track tossed in to keep everyone from getting sucidal... and of course helping Rach's love life
  7. There are sent out by the The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (as mentioned in the first line of the post ) To get them go here : Open Original Shared Link and click where it says Special Allergy Alerts Go here to receive alerts by e-mail. It is free
  8. IMO, (and many many others) Bisopy for celiac disease is a total waste of time and money. The fact that your already gluten-free just makes it more so. You do NOT have to have the test just cause your doc is pushing it. You did the diet, you got better, you have the Entrolab test... why go through with it? If they are ONLY looking for celiac disease...
  9. Rach, I have a TON of those sliver fillings, lost track aroun 25 or so... and I have some of the white ones. Are the white ones just as bad? TheDave, we are just trying to help

  11. Boys and girls take warning, if you go near the lake Keep your eyes wide open, and look for sneaky snake Now maybe you wont see him, maybe you wont hear But hell sneak up behind you, and drink all your root beer And then sneaky snake goes dancin, wigglin and a-hissin Sneaky snake goes dancin, gigglin and a-kissin I dont like old sneaky snake; he laughs...

  14. Let me clear somthing up first, its not a sugar substitute, its sugar with less processing then the white grabage. As for gluten free, it SHOULD be, its just sugar. CC is always a risk.
  15. Read some fun / strange stuff... Open Original Shared Link
  16. Sure, and then theres the expresions that mean nothing like what the words the mean say. Such as "Take my side". If I were to translate that literely, I would be telling someone to get a knife and cut the side fo my body off! Its funny how much more I am learning about American English by studying another language.
  17. Hey thats great about the tasting. Once she realizes she likes food I think that will go a long way!
  18. You certinly dont look like one! And for the record, I fully believe that WOMEN might find MEN they think are friends. Men think differently, and while thats odvious, it bears repeating....as much as possible. Theres a reason why most woman think they have "friends" that are male, and most (all those that are honest with themselves at least...
