    UPDATE!!! UPDATE!!! READ ALL ABOUT IT!!! Okay I called her, and she is ON HER WAY HOME with Megan. The Surgery is still schedauled for 7/25. She siad the hospital was excellent with thier dietary needs. They still do not have an answer to why Megan broke out in the coldsweats and all, and pretty much everything is on hold till her normal docs get back...

    As far as I know they are gluten-free, and I have not heard of anyone reacting to them. They are bascily sugar, water and dyes... not much to mess up one would think.

    Its not a silly question, however I do not think the ears and celiac disease are related in my sons case. I do think that the develmental delays are directly related, and anytime he has been glutened since they repeat.

    Funny thing about me as a child, my mom calims I feel down the stairs at one point... the medical records state "...was drop on his head from a hieght of about six foot on to concrete, no appearent injury." But I think I did better hten you .. did not get my first stiches till middle of elementry school when I sorta kind of leaped on to a metal...

    I was just thinking.. I skipped over the part where he got FIVE stiches in his head due to falling head first on to a cabient courner... that just seems so minor... its scary what leve you get used to!

    If you go to Open Original Shared Link you can see the sitcker still on him after he got home from sunday school. He likes putting the one on his front himself so its not exactly upright...

    We finaly found out where our son's school buy's its stickers for childern with food issues... Open Original Shared Link They are bright neon gree and very easy to spot. We put on front of him and on his back so that all his teachers have a easy reminder. We actually write "Can only have food from his own bag, NO PLAYDOUGH!" on it, does not matter much...

    Honestly? Theres no good answer to that "is it time to test yet" questoin. At 18mos my son tested postive, so at least my son's GI doctor does not think its too young. I would go ahead with the blood test (NOT the endscope! Just the blood test), and see what it says... If its positve, well thats easy, gluten-free for him too. If its negative, then...

    The search engin here is fiarly useless, but you can use google to search this site and you will get a page like Open Original Shared Link Which is what the search egin here would return if it was worth anything.
