  1. Oh and I forgot to mention this! I was considered Anorexic due to a fear of eating after i deveolped Gastritis after my antibiotic. I went from 180 pounds (I had a child) to 123 pounds in a year. Then when i started eating again i gained some and had digestion issues still. Not as bad as before though. Now im at 145 and i gain weight, then lose weight. Sometimes...
  2. Oh yes all this has helped me! I need to get a copy of my reports and tests because he did not tell me what i had. He did not clarify anything about an allergy to gluten or if I had Celiac Disease. After the endoscopy and Colonoscopy he said everything appeared normal. Then a few days later his nurse called to tell me to try a Gluten free diet. I said "as...
  3. gas? I have had gas pain so intense i have had to lay down and it just sits there.
  4. ohh ok. Thank you skylark that was what answer i was looking for. And thanks for everyone else too. Im starting the diet that i made. It treats the leaky gut and is of course, gluten free. Hopefully it works!
  5. question though- I have found some evidence to the claim that antibiotics can cause damaged villi. Here is one of the sites: Open Original Shared Link I just have a strong feeling that i don't have celiac disease. I just don't get why- Maybe im just too hopeful
  6. I will definitely do that. Is celiac disease an allergy to gluten? Because people can be allergic to strawberries and if you just don't eat them your fine. Wouldn't gluten be like the same thing?
  7. Wow your lucky. I read that you can have no symptoms but still have damage
  8. Well the thing is the only way i start feeling better is if my diet contains mostly of rice and steamed vegetables. I can't handle alot of other things. But maybe i just need time to heal before i can experiment with more gluten free foods. I have had my eye on gluten free chocolate cake mix i have found at the store.
  9. My Grandmother had lymphoma cancer and her belly was full of liquids. My friend Brian's dad was just diagnosed and had fluids in his pancreas i believe. Maybe it's possible the antibiotic disrupted your progress?? That's what lead to my trigger of gluten intolerance!
  10. I agree with Skylark. That's also alot of vitamin D and if its bladder symptoms maybe its not absorbing through the intestines like it should and absorbing through the bladder instead. Or kidneys even.
  11. Your body might be flushing out your system. Or you have a certain food you can't tolerate. I just found out i can't tolerate corn no more tacos and corn tortillas for me I wonder if Gluten can be stored in your fat cells. I read this story where a teenager got poisoned from termites or some type of bug from the gasses they produce and it was stored in...
  12. I have had stomach problems from anxiety/stress since i was 16. I believe it can make the symptoms worse. But stomach problems can also give you anxiety too. Also, at any restaurants, there are high risks of cc. You could touch the tables and maybe of stuck your fingers in your mouth while eating. I don't even go out to eat anymore. I don't trust anybody...
  13. Well i would suggest not eating gluten. And mine does it too once in awhile and i have noticed it to be gas or indigestion. But i know how you feel feels weird
  14. Hmm that's interesting. I should call my doctor as well and clarify with him what my biopsy exactly showed. All he told me was to try a gluten free diet. Not really a diagnosis o.O
  15. Haha it's okay! I like criticism! If i can speak proper English, i should be able to type it too! I would like to go into psychology. That's my field of interest
  16. This is my story- I took an antibiotic and excedrin (because the antibiotic gave me a migraine) on an empty stomach, like a dummy, and my stomach had a bad reaction. It gave me gastritis for 4 months and when that healed, i had problem digesting meats, pastas, pizza, etc. Now when i ate bread, it didn't bother me that much. My question is: Is it possible...
  17. I understand. See what i am confused about though is my antibodies were normal. I was reading earlier that several things can cause villi damage. Candida, leaky gut, and the gluten intolerance. Now, i read this on a few internet sites so i don't know if that's exactly true. Does anyone know of other causes of villi damage?
  18. I apologize Kareng i went back and reread some of my things and i got confused as well and Im the one who wrote it! I don't wish to be one of those doctors who assume things. I want to be able to listen to everything a patient has to say. I have had some pretty rude doctors who rush, and i don't want to turn into them! Most everyone has good points. Honestly...
  19. I am Just tired of being brought down. I'm just trying to see if it's possible... But i will give my props to Irish heart! I apologize, but i did check out your sources and i can see where your coming from. I guess in all this midst I am trying to just give myself hope that it can go away I just feel that everyone is different and has different opinions...
  20. trust me its a pain in the butt. try eating rice and steamed vegetables. eat boiled eggs (for protein) eat spinach (they have a natural anti inflammatory product in them, forgive me i forgot what it's called but it starts with a eat salads with no dressing you could possible put a lil bit of salt and olive oil and make your own dressing for a little flavor...
  21. A couple people I've talked to have told me that gluten intolerance can be caused by leaky gut and leaky gut can be caused from gluten. it makes better sense being caused from gluten. but then i really thought about it and if you picture an inflamed intestine and you gave it gluten (which hangs around in your gut so it takes longer to digest) and your gut...
  22. a couple doctors don't even believe in an illness called leaky gut. i have also ready that other things can damage villi. my villi was not completely flat. i can still gain weight when eating gluten but i can eat non gluten things and ill still get the biggest symptom, inflammation and gas. Im taking 2 diets and making them one. just so your gut can heal...
  23. OK now you want to hear my 21 year old side- first of all its just a hypothesis and just because you say things are not possible doesn't mean they aren't. i never said to not eat gluten free i was seeing if its possible to heal and eat normally once again because I BELIEVE that celiac disease and gluten intolerance are two different things. i believe celiac...
  24. my teachers do not let us take information from wikipedia. guess there was a problem with their site not always being completely truthful. anyways- celiacs disease can go away in a child. ive interviewed 26 adults who have had celiacs disease as a child and it has disappeared around age 16-25 and has not come back so far. 1 woman, however, has had her celiacs...
