  1. Yes, you've really got to watch the condiments. There is a "safe" list and list of forbidden ingredients on this site somewhere. As far as how long before noticing a difference, I noticed great improvement with respect to the gas/bloating/discomfort within a few weeks. The big D tends to linger a bit longer, the brain fog and malaise seemed to hold...
  2. Back at the end of June we had terrible flooding up here (central upstate NY). My older daughter (the one on the far left) was looking out the window, watching the debris float by on the stream beside our house. She yelled come quick look! We all ran to see what she saw, including my 2 year old, who just so happened to be on the potty at the time. My wife...
  3. I watch the ABC plot board. There is inevitably some supposed "insider" who emerges every season and posts the whole episode in detail Weds. afternoon. Kind of takes the fun out of it, but with all of the re-runs I can't take the anticipation - I can't wait! I guess this season they are starting later, running 7 or 8 epi's taking a break of a few weeks and...
  4. Remarkably, I think this is the one thread he didn't spam yesterday. I noticed he was on and lurking today, but his spam-anator must be busted
  5. Good question. I tried making stuffing last year, but ended up making soggy, crumbly bread-mush I made the bread at home, baked it so it was nice and hard, and then tried to make it from there as one normally. It smelled and tasted ok - that is if you could stand the texture! I was thinking maybe a pre-made bread would survive better. Ener-G comes to...
  6. Huh? This can't be true, Alfred told me just yasterday that he had witnessed, with his very own eyes no less, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny debating the virtues of fuzzy slippers in this language you claim to have seen circling the toilet... caveat lector!
  7. er, Toronto is a suburb of Buffalo, isn't it?
  8. well, lets seee...we could use the time to research and perfect the "as good as glutened" gluten-free bread recipe...re-read all the labels of everything in the pantry...surf the net to figure out what makes poop a certain color/texture/size/weight/consistency ...mend socks...there's always the OLN (Outdoor Life Network) nightly Bambi stalk-n-kill ...CSPAN...
  9. It all makes sense now! DHARMA is actually the FOX network and the prison break cast are the "OTHERS"! I guess there's no need to watch another minute
  10. I actually graduated from Alfred University, in where else - Alfred, NY. What the folks in Western NY lack in imagination, they more than make up for in die-hard support of their beloved Buffalo Bills...True story - I have personally seen, way to up close and personal, a mullet dyed in team colors, accessorized with red white and blue face, and torso...
  11. I'll go out on a limb and say that if she spent any amount of time with that Atari, she gets it. Those sound effects just crack me up!
  12. Speaking of John Travolta, now HE has a a head of HAIR! I think his hair has starred in more movies than he has...It had the lead in...Saturday Night Fever, Grease, Pulp Fiction, The Boy in the Bubble, and that awful sci-fi movie he did a few years ago...wait, I'm not sure if his hair made an appearance in that one...

  14. Welcome! Your symptoms are not that weird. Take a breath, relax. I think the majority of us have ahd the tinglyfingers and toes and brain fog, dizziness, vertigo-y sensations. I've never had the taste problem, but I'm guessing somebody here has. The most likely culprit it a deficiency in key vitamins and minerals. Celiac disease attacks your body's ability...
  15. You're soooo close. It appears that the "store" here sells them. https://www.celiac.com/catalog/product_info...products_id=163 or yahoo search: Open Original Shared Link Enjoy!
  16. did it hurt?
  17. "I have seen it with my own eyes" He probably thinks the Easter Bunny is real too! (sssh, nobody tell him about Santa's dirty little secret)
  18. I'll see your blouse and makeup and raise you John Travolta IN TIGHTS AND A PASTEL HEADBAND! "Staying Alive" (I think)
  19. Could you dial up your buddy Raffy and ask him to please stop staring at my half digested lunch. My rug needs a good power cleaning, can he help? TAKE A HIKE - no snake-oil salesmen allowed!
  20. Yeah, what's up with the 4 toed statue? I almost fell of the couch when Sayid said, " I don't know what is more disquieting -- the fact that the rest of the statue is missing, or that it has 4 toes?" If you really must ruin it for yourself...here is the ABC board with countless links to other sites Open Original Shared Link
  21. oh, but how could I forget the neon shoelaces and the "layered look". Let's wear all of our clothes at once, but cut them all up first!
  22. #1 reason my wife hates to watch it with me!
  23. It must be cookie week here. The last batch I made I couldn't even tell the difference- Moist and chewy even after a couple days! I also use the recipe on the back. I use Hagman's gluten-free Rice flour blend (about all its good for if you ask me). I add 2 tsp Xanthan gum to the mix follow the directions, then throw everything in the frigde for a couple hrs...
  24. ...I'll see your Reeboks and raise you a pair of leg warmers and a pastel headband
  25. I think she gets it!
