    I've had problems with Fritos also so sad because they are my favorite! I think it might be hit or miss... depending on how well they cleaned the machines before making a bactch... so I'm tempted to try aonther bag of Fritos, but don't know if it's worth the risk... Cheetos on the other hand- LOVE the crunchy ones and haen't had a problem thus far...

    If I ask for it to be steamed, and cooked in a washed pan, would this be OK? I have the Wheat-Free soy sauce that I usually make with my home-made chinese, but was wondering if steamed would be OK? How about the white rice from a chineese take out? Fried rice?

    OMG! I woke up with a horiable cold today! I am so sad- I won't be able to come tonight! I wanted my husband to drive there to at least get me take-out... I was so looking forward to finally going to Mama's!! We'll have to plan another time to meet up- I'm SO sorry I can't make it, but hope the rest of you have fun. Let us konw how it is!...

    This is awesome! More options! Unfortunatley, my FAVORIET BBQ chicken pizza is not on it (ha ha), but at least my husband can still get it!

    I would want to meet up also!! I always wanted to go to Mama's Italian Restaurant! I go to Cafe Baldo and Outback A LOT, but am getting bored with the lack of variety! I really don't know many other places to eat on LI, so it would be nice to get out! I'm in Bethpage. (Used to live in Merrick too )

    Same thing happend to me the last time I ate there... BEFORE that time, I NEVER had a problem. I was so upset, b/c I had such high regards for Outback and their efforts... well, still do, but slighly lower now. When the salad came out, I said "This has crutons on it, and I ordered gluten-free"... the waitress said "Oh, I forgot to write "86" crutons", and...

    I went to France over the summer, and yes, I notified the airline in advance about a gluten-free meal (although, it seemed like they did not fully understand, but I did get just salad, and a plain chicken). While In France, I had a translated dining card that stated what I could and couldn't eat. Most of the waiters brought it to the Chef and were able...

    I've herad about this too. I saw someting once I think that said if you have celiac disease you are more prone to Gallstones... I wonder why that is?? I'll check out this book!

    I was wondering the same thing. I am scheduled to have my gallbladder out at the end of this month, and am hoping it will improve some of my stomach pains (I have been gluten-free since September), but am wondering if there is a corelation, or any complications of having it out, if you have celiac disease??

    They have the gluten-free menus at teh front, but you have to ask for it. I agree with the Waitstaff issue... they are TOTALLY not Educated on gluten-free nor their menu of gluten-free.. My waitress was staring at me with 3 heads when I was asking questions about a Menu THEY gave me! Even when the Manager came over, even SHE had no clue Coporate...

    I ate at PF Chengs this afternoon... had a yummy gluten-free meal (hopefully...) the only thing I wasn't sure of was the rice... When I asked our waitress, who seemed to have NO clue what gluten-free was, nor what the menu was about, I asked her if the rice was gluten-free? She had no idea... so she asked another waiter, he came over and said "it's a Wheat...

    I have been seeing a lot of posts about if a cosmetic product (shampoo, face lotion, hand lotion, make-up, etc..) if they contain Gluten, they are harmful... is this ONLY if it is ingested? by using a face cream, but it does not get in your mouth, are you OK? How can shampoo be harmful?? I have been trying to find an answer online, but to no avail...
