Oh....and pink is NOT having the same effect that it had last year. Pink is BAD .....nevertheless.....I went out and bought 2 new pink shirts tonight. Maybe the other shirts have been worn too many times....all of the "healing" may have been washed out by now. -

Paula, I looked at my samples while I was...ummm "gathering" them. After that I dont think I paid much attention. I know that there was alot of "debris" (for lack of better description ) and I know that I purposely "gathered" in those areas...but I think most of it was just brightly colored undigested food. I'm assuming anyway because... -

Good luck tomorrow Birdy! I got pretty tired after my LED for mercury....thats about all I remember (its been about a year). I think it was pretty easy for me....I just felt a little wiped out. Sorry about the OAS. -

I looked up the baking soda/aluminum thing and couldnt find anything that states that sodium bicarbonate contains aluminum. From what I read baking soda is used to make baking powder....and most baking powder contains aluminum. and baking soda should just be baking soda... This site explains how baking soda is made. April, I just use plain Arm and Hammer baking soda.....it should be just sodium bicarbonate. I've never heard of plain baking soda having aluminum it it....but alot of brands of baking powder do have aluminum....so for paking powder I would look for the stuff that specifically states "aluminum free". -
ARCHIVED Does Anyone Else React To Dill?
Rachel--24 replied to HAK1031's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
I'm gonna guess that its sulfites....unless the chicken salad was homemade with fresh ingredients?? The dill pickles would most likely contain sulfites....alot of processed foods contain sulfites or ingredients which are preserved with sulfites (such as lemon juice). You could buy some fresh dill and test it to see if you get the same reaction. Just... -

The biopsy was a breeze for me....I didnt feel a thing. I wouldn't hesitate to do it again because I felt sooooo good afterwards....totally relaxed....came home and had the BEST nap ever! Only thing is that I was totally rambling when I woke after the procedure. My mom said I was talking to the doctor but not making any sense at all. If I go... -
Since her doctor is a DAN! doctor I would think that he would be familiar with the methylation cycle. In recent years there is alot of research and evidence that points to the methylation cycle as being a major factor in ASD's and other conditions like CFS, Lyme Disease, chronic viral infections, etc. I also have a DAN! doctor and the methylation cycle...

ARCHIVED Silly Question - How Many People Do And
Rachel--24 replied to debmidge's topic in Introduce Yourself / Share Stuff
I have a dishwasher. Every home I've ever lived in has had a dishwasher. My mom has a dishwasher and I'm pretty sure most people I know have a dishwasher (I never really payed much attention). I wash the dishes by hand before putting them in the dishwasher though....it looks like most people dont do that ....I guess I'm in the minority there. -

Here is the company's statement regarding their use of the words "gluten-free" on their product. Alot of people do react to the trace amounts of gluten in Rice Dream. -
ARCHIVED 3 Unrelated Questions
Rachel--24 replied to Gentleheart's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
Its my understanding that Rice Dream is not safe for people who are adhering to a strict gluten-free diet. It is not gluten free (it contains barley). -
I also wanted to mention that she may not be having a problem with the glutathione at all....but maybe she's reacting to something else in the cream. They have some really pure glutathione supplements that are free of additives and everything else....although I'm not sure about creams specifically. Also, some people have bad experiences with one form of...

Did your dd have organic acid testing....is that how you found that she had elevated citric acid? If I was posting something about negative reactions to glutathione it may have had something to do with sulfur metabolism.....not just sulfite sensitivity but a problem with all sulfur due to enzyme deficiency and/or faulty transsulfuration. Do you know...

If you're not getting symptoms....and you are having a hard time sticking to the diet without a formal diagnosis.....why not do the challenge for the tests? It might be better for you to do the challenge so that if you DO have Celiac you wont continue to damage yourself over the long term. If you dont feel any worse eating it.....and you are going to...

If you have Celiac Disease you are not doing yourself any good by continuing to have a little bit of gluten here and there. You are not allowing yourself a chance to heal and you are setting yourself up for additional health problems later on. I think you already know this though. It sounds like not having a diagnosis is making it more difficult...

I'm just looking more at the autistic population and what works for them. I guess my thinking is that all of these conditions (autism, lyme, heavy metal toxicity, molds, MCS, CFS, etc.) have similar "links". I believe that when they really understand how to treat autism....we will also have effective treatments for ALL of these conditions. Its all related... -

I probably posted something about impaired detoxification and issues with metals, toxins, infections, etc. I have severe problems with detoxification...but my liver tests are all normal. Yeah....I cant believe it either! Oh well....my friend is coming back to visit in less than 4 weeks. I have no plans to start any treatments with the machine (Dr. W. or anyone else) until I get the detoxification issues worked out first. Even if the machine works.....I dont see how it can possibly help me if my problem is within my biochemistry... -
ARCHIVED Gut Imbalance And Dysbiosis Behind Everything.
Rachel--24 replied to AliB's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
For sure bacteria can produce some nasty toxins. In my case its more of an issue with impaired detoxification......being exposed to chemicals can cause me to sweat...same with most foods. If my body cant process these things efficiently I end up detoxing more heavily under the arms....it never fails. I've had numerous tests for bacteria....including...
