  1. Mine doesnt sound like either of those. Its never gotten larger like the cherry angioma...and it doesnt look like the pic. It also doesnt disappear....its always there...the only thing that changes is that sometimes its brighter.
  2. I think Bartonella causes tiny red blisters. EDIT: I see Carla already mentioned this. I have two of them. One on my breast and one on my leg...only slightly raised. I dont get additional ones....just the same two I've had for most of the time I've been sick. For some reason at times they will appear to be a brighter red. I have no...
  3. I'm glad this is working out for you Kassandra! One decent day is definately a good start. Take it easy and just enjoy it.
  4. I forgot to mention that he wanted to do an iodine test. Anyone familiar with that?? Its on hold for now because he said it involves taking an iodine tablet....and he doesnt know how I'll handle that right now. He's also not trying any supplements with me yet. He said he's afraid to give me anything yet because he's not sure that I can tolerate anything...
  5. He's a MD....also a LLMD. There are 4 doctors in the practice.....they're all LLMD's but this one is also a DAN! doctor.....which is why I wanted to see him. DAN! = Defeat Autism Now! The reason I went to him is because I was *hoping* that he would be knowledgeable in these exact areas. Its mainly the ones who are treating Autism who have the most...
  6. Yup...apparantly there is no shortage of Voodoo ladies here. Definately!
  7. Not me.....not even a little bit. I dont think I could sit through it even if you paid me!
  8. I had my appt. with Dr. P....I totally like him so far!! It went really well. Yay! I was kind of having some anxiety all day since I really didnt know how much he knew about the "metabolic" stuff. I just knew that he's treating autism, Lyme, metals and he does some muscle testing....thats pretty much it. I guess I was just worried he wouldnt...
  9. Kassandra's here in CA...I'm in northern cal.....shes in southern cal. She hasnt had ART....he did have muscle testing though. Even if you cant find an ART practitioner....maybe there is someone else who is experienced with traditional muscle testing in your area?? I'm talking for Kassandra since she's avoiding EFT's right now.
  10. Well that cant be good! Luckily, I'm not into the Batman movies...I would have passed this one up anyways. Thanks for the heads up though. Not caring about what happens to the characters = this movie sucks.
  11. Patti, I think we're on the same page. There is absolutely no way the medical community is gonna attempt to even take this seriously. They have big egos and they are run by the Big Pharma. Its very possible that some people may be cured. I dont think it would work for every patient....but some would benefit...and the ones who didnt would not be harmed...
  12. I think in my case I have to build some things up first...I have alot of deficiencies. Also, if sulfur metabolism is dysfunctional (and I believe it is) I wouldnt really be tolerating glutathione. There are different things that can cause this...mercury being one of them. Another is copper...because it is an antagonist to molybdemun. If molybdenum is low...
  13. About the bruxism...I had it REALLY bad. Never in my life did I ever clench or grind until after my dental work...when all of the symtpoms hit. I had to wear a guard for awhile. Its definately better now....I stopped grinding once I changed my diet and got some things under control. I think it has to do with stress...my body was under alot of stress from...
  14. Paula...say NO to flouride!! I definately wouldnt take those pills. Like Andrea said...its BAD....its all bad. I dont wanna sound dramatic but flouride is TOXIC. I totally avoid it ever since I fist got sick....I only buy toothpaste that is flouride-free. I was reacting to the ones with flouride which is why I switched long before I knew it was...
  15. Ditto to that!! Kassandra...you might be the toughest 17 year old I've ever "met". I hope they can do something about the cramps. Sorry you're having to deal with that. I'm glad that the med switch is going better for you...and yes, I'm crossing my fingers that NAET treatments will do you some good. You just reminded me that Dr. Amy...
  16. Its not an allergy.....its an intolerance. You can call any type of reaction an "allergy".....however, the only "true" allergies are IgE mediated. Some people refer to Celiac Disease as an "allergy" to gluten.....even though celiac disease is not an allergy. Look up the difference between allergy and intolerance....they are two different things. You...
  17. Hi Lymetoo. No guarantees about the bloodwork being positive. Depends on how much gluten you've been eating and for how long now. You can have them run the test just to check it...after that maybe you should go back on the diet 100% if you feel that gluten is responsible for the problems.
  18. Its all seeming very mysterious to me now....there must be *something* about the light! I think I really need one now. I have to admit though....I'm more than a little disappointed that there is no heat coming off of it. What the heck kind of light doesnt give off heat?? I asscociate light with heat....and this is a major bummer for me. Oh...
  19. Yeah...some options are not available to me....so I thought maybe my "cool guy" got taken away too. I'm just not cool enough!!
  20. Yeah....no wonder I trained myself to type with one finger. Why would anyone wanna use BOTH hands....one hand HAS to be available for munching. Thats my rule. EDIT: Ooooh.....my "cool guy" actually showed up this time. I guess he just comes and goes as he pleases. Thats so NOT cool.
  21. You cant find out whether or not you have Celiac Disease throuh Enterolab. They can only tell you whether or not you are sensitive to gluten....but they cannot diagnose Celiac Disease.
  22. Technically, there's no such thing as an IgG allergy....so she's right about that. Allergies are IgE mediated. IgG immune responses are sensitivities/intolerances....but not true allergies. There's a big difference. So yes, you can be ill because of these foods....but its not due to an allergy.
  23. Thanks Lisa! But I kind of think I have an advantage right now. I can eat and type at the same time....how many of you can do that?? How come you can use the little sunglasses dude and I cant? EDIT: SEE.....he wont even show up in my post when I'm quoting you. WTH?? No...this is just stuff that Dr. K. shared...
  24. My friend watched the first video I sent her and she's not too excited about the gastric bypass anymore. Thank God! She watched it with a friend who is also considering having it done. They both decided to try to lose weight with diet and exercise first. YAY! They can help each other stay motivated. I hope it works.
  25. Does anyone know why I cant use the little dude with sunglasses emoticon?? He just never works anymore.
