    Andrea, I know it would be safer but I think it would take a lifetime to pull the mercury out...nothing really has the capabilities of getting rid of it like the DMPS or DMSA. Maybe the doctor will have a plan if it comes to that. The mercury challenge requires a dose of the DMPS though....thats how they would test for toxicity in the first place......

    I have alot of anxiety about my appt. on Monday. I'm really stressing myself out. Doing alot of research on mercury so I can be well informed. I'm very confused about the chelators. I've read alot of bad stuff about DMPS....I found a website in which many people tell stories of how they were negatively affected by the DMPS...some even suffered permanant damage...

    I would like to add that I never actually used the almond flour I found at Trader Joes because it has a cya statement on it. It was processed on the same equipment as wheat.

    I found almond flour at Trader Joes....its just basically ground up almonds....thats all it is. I dont see it sold in very many places though...actually I've only seen it at Trader Joes.

    About the saunas....I do remember reading once that they were diferent from the regular saunas but I never knew exactly what the difference was and where to find one.     Yeah...its a doctor that I'm going to. I cant wait until Monday...I hope I get a good amount of info. from my appt. and I hope I also come outta there with alot of hope. Out of every appt. I've ever had over these last 4 years and out of every specialist I've seen...I feel like this is going to be the most important I've had yet.

    Yeah...I would definately want to talk to him but I also know its pretty useless. I talked to them a few times about this 3 years back...they blew me off. There is no way they're gonna acknowledge that mercury in amalgams causes any kind of health risk whatsoever.     Andrea...I dont think the gold crowns are the real problem...its the amalgam fillings that contain mercury. Definately having both in one mouth is a recipe for disaster though.     I'm not sure why but I've never owned a pair of converse.     OK...I got back my test results last Wed. This was for the 24 hr. urine test.....the bloodwork wasnt back yet. The doc said histamine levels were normal. I'm a little bit leery about the ogre at the lab not properly handling the sample...I never saw her refridgerate it and she didnt handle my bloodwork properly so I'm a little skeptical...but whatever......

    Yeah...and Judy gardens alot.....like me. They would probably be perfect for working in the yard. You guys say you can just rinse off the dirt?? That would be great but wouldnt they stain easily? I get grass stains on my shoes but just throw them in the wash and it comes off...I dont know about these plastic shoes though. Oh...they're not really plastic...

    Thanks Simply V, I actually found out that corn isnt my problem. At the start of this thread in April I believed it might be. I got my meds compounded, studied the Avoiding Corn forum and got rid of every trace of corn...even in toothpaste. It turned out to not be the culprit though. I learned alot of useful information from your posts and the others...

    I am soooo thinking that my main problem is sulfites. I think that when I'm reacting to them my whole system goes haywire...depending on the dose. I think if I'm reacting to sulfites for some reason its harder for my body to handle starches, meats, and all high protein foods. I got like $90 worth of mixes for cookies, pizza, pancakes....you name it. I remember wondering about sulfites back then and I felt good about her mixes cuz they said the starches were sulfite...
