    Jacklyn, Just wanted to mention that as previously stated gluten is highly addictive so you may actually feel worse from withdrawl once you start the diet. That happened to me big time...but then again you can see what my diet was like from my previous post....so its not surprising. My body must have went into shock.

    Abbie, Pretty much all potatoes have sulfites...so that would include potato chips.     They may become stronger....this does happen to alot of people.     All grapes are also sprayed with sulphites. I believe spraying sulphites on fresh produce has been banned with the exception of grapes and fresh cut potatoes. Some people died from consuming salad bar foods that had been sprayed with sulphites so it is now illegal...although it is still done occasionally....illegally.

    I have DQ1 and DQ3. I've done more research on DQ1 though...it seems like DQ1 is the one that can cause severe symptoms. Some biopsy diagnosed Celiacs have DQ1 without having either DQ2 or DQ8.     Ok...I talked to the pharmacist tonight and I'll be getting the drug either Thursday or Friday. I found the info. my doctor gave me as well. Its called Ketotifen and its an antihistimine. I'm getting it from a compounding pharmacy in Washington. The paper I have says its not commercially available in the US. The pharmacist told me that its very well...

    Jersey, The baby birds in the nest have been there a couple weeks now...how long do they stay? I came home to another big mess on Sat. and one of the birds was dead on my doormat.     Thanks Floridian. I do get more sensitive leading up to my period....everything I read says ovarian cysts are totally normal in menstruating females. How will they really know if mine are normal or not? That confuses me. Thanks for helping me out with this...its making me feel better talking about it.

    I started taking my digestive enzymes again cuz last time I was taking them it seemed like I was having less reactions...we'll see how I do now.     I did react to the cucumber cuz right after I ate it my head and nose started swelling and. My mucus membranes get "sticky". This is what happens with me and chemicals so it was probably cuz it wasnt organic. I dont know if the sweating was related to that reaction though.     Manja, Have you found any toothpaste that doesnt bother you? How about Tom's of Maine? I was using that for awhile and didnt get any obvious symptoms from it but doing baking soda now just to be extra cautious. I'm sensitive to alot of scented perfumy type things so I use a deoderant I found at whole foods. Its Crystal something or other. I cant think...

    Was it the Ttg that came back positive or the anti-gliadin Iga? A positive Ttg = Celiac. I wouldnt exactly call yours a weak positive....especially since you'd been on a gluten free diet and still had positive test results. A negative biopsy doent rule out Celiac...the test is very flawed and often comes back with false negatives. They can easily miss...
