    My observation is that the high oxalate foods seem to damage my gut...those are the foods that cause GI symptoms leading to obvious malabsorption. So when I'm consistently eating high oxalate foods (like chocolate)....after a few days I have alot of inflammation, noticeable weight loss and loose stools....which pretty clearly indicate malabsorption issues...

    It was only one brand of chocolate ice cream that I eat....organic stoneyfield. I couldnt tolerate any other types of chocolate ice cream or bars...I'd react to various ingredients. I cant tolerate vanilla....its not high in oxalate so thats not the issue. It was actually one of only a few things to show up in my IgG food intolerance test....I'm just...

    Sherry, I forgot to comment on the selenium. I actually dont know anything about elevated selenium so I'm pretty sure I never posted anything with regards to that. However, I did post a little bit about deficiencies. My selenium is very low. Selenium is an important mineral...even though...I'm sure too much cant be good...it might be causing deficiencies...

    Awww Andrea.....that sounds so perfect. The children are so gonna love this. I love the beach! I love everything about it. I just wanna have my toes in the sand and I can sit there forever (as long as its not too cold!) just watching the waves. Its the most perfect place to watch the sunset.
