Ok...so it looks like I need phenols and oxalates to have a positive charge. The Zeolite itself has a negative charge. Oooooohhh....I am soooo bringing this to Amy or Anna. I think I'm gonna test well for this......I can just *feel* it. -

Thats it!! Thanks Paula. The other page I was on only had the 4 pack. Rinne's been here. She pops in and out...she's busy with her restaraunt and with eating all of her Rinne bars. Me and Sarah were having a good debate on the Glutenease thread. Havent seen Ami or Kristina in a long time. -

But Paula....is it the Waiora brand?? I need the one that Lisa takes. I've known this girl for awhile and no WAY could she eat pizza before! In fact she couldnt even TOUCH pizza before...and actually I'm not even sure if she could LOOK at pizza without getting sick (or without totally ruining the pizza ). Now she's putting up a picture of... -

I'm pretty sure Great Plains interprets the results....I think I remember reading it on their site. I hope so! I'm gonna call tomorrow to see if they're in. If you're gonna be around this weekend I'll give you a call. -

Hey Peeps. I think I should be getting my OAT results back this week. It might be difficult to interpret.....I know there's alot involved. I'm not sure if they send a report with the results?? If not, I'll be busy (probably all week ) trying to figure it out!! I'm dying to know about OXALATES!!! I havent heard anything about Amy as... -
I agree...enzymes improve digestion....which in turn promotes healing! This is what I've been trying to say all along. Celiac's can use enzymes....just not as an excuse to intentionally consume gluten. Enzymes can be helpful for anyone who is on the gluten-free diet (Celiac or otherwise)....as well as for non-celiacs who do not require a life-long...

Yeah...either that or they'd have to "SUPER-SIZE" the product so that the bottle is large enough for all of the details. But still.....even if it were printed RIGHT THERE on the bottle...in big bold black letters.....people will still "misunderstand" and use the enzymes inappropriately. Seriously, how many times did I state in my posts here that...

LOL....sorry. Open Original Shared Link Actually, this whole article has some interesting info.....and again, this is with regards to non-celiac gluten intolerance. I found it interesting that some people who were on the gluten free/casein free diet while also taking enzymes actually improved when adding gluten and casein back into the diet...

This is for the "NON-Celiac gluten sensitive leaky gut people".....as well as Celiac's who are interested. This article actually explains alot of what I've been saying with regards to underlying factors which are damaging the gut....and leading to a situation of non celiac gluten intolerance. It was my opinion that enzymes would be useful to reduce...

ARCHIVED Digestive Enzymes & Probiotics
Rachel--24 replied to Lukalovescats's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
Have you tried eliminating things like food dyes, additives and preservatives for the ADD behaviors? Many kids with ADD make big improvements when those things are removed from the diet. Heres a list of the main ones: 1. Synthetic colours (or food dyes) (especially red and yellow). 2. Artificial flavours: they are petroleum based additives: for... -
This is exactly why I no longer make those recommendations to people. Yes, there was a time that I suggested those very things...however, I no longer do that. Instead I STRONGLY reccomend that everyone do the testing first.....bloodwork, biopsy and genes (if necessary). Get it out of the way and THEN try the diet....even if the tests were all negative. ...

Scott, U.Z. did mention several times that he strictly avoids gluten and is extremely sensitive to cross contamination. He said he never purposely eats gluten and only uses the enzymes to help in situations where cross conatimination is a concern....like when he eats out. I dont mean to speak for him.....but he did say that a bunch of times. He never...

ARCHIVED Why The Food Intolerances?
Rachel--24 replied to holdthegluten's topic in Food Intolerance & Leaky Gut
Actually metals are strongly linked to chronic candida problems....particularly mercury. Personally, I think I'd be more concerned if my doctors werent looking at metals as a possibility. If there are other things that you feel are more likely to be your problem....you can definately ask to be tested for those things. -
Just out of curiousity....if I had joined the board last week and my first post was in this thread (because its a topic I'm somewhat familiar with) how many people here would be calling me a shill?? The majority of my posts have been in this thread the past few days. I actually kind of felt like woolygimp was implying that Rachel/Zack are one...

Agreed regarding paragraph 2 and the mention of "flattened villi". I dont like that part. In my experience this is not true for non celiac gluten intolerance which can be caused by certain conditions in the body...including enzyme deficiency, an imbalance of gut flora (dysbiosis), yeast overgrowth, etc. Of course if none of these things...

They do mention a cause...they are stating that the protein is difficult to digest. This is a cause for gluten intolerance! This can be a cause for ANY food intolerance...if we cant digest it...we develop problems with it. If we lack the enzymes for digesting lactose.....we are lactose intolerant....and this can actually impede healing!! Which is why...
