  1. My sweets are rice cakes or kinnikinnick animal cookies and I just found some cookies at target annies gluten free snickerdoodle bunny cookies
  2. I don't know what kind of rash I have but it will not go away. What do you do to help with rashes. I've been told oatmeal but that makes it worse. I use cream but that hasn't helped.
  3. Thank you I will look into the iodine. It seems like this rash is getting worse everyday
  4. Mold could be making you sick. If the air vent isn't cleaned then the dust you are breathing in can make you sick. I have found that if there is mold somewhere that I breath in, it makes me very sick.
  5. That leaves a lot of food I can't eat. Can my doctor check for that allergy. I already have cut out chocolate completely as I think it was causing the inside of my mouth to break out.
  6. Thanks everyone. What is iodine? I'm planning on talking to my doctor. It doesn't matter how much I shower or wash my face. My face, my neck, and my chest is always broke out in a rash. The last doctor I saw told me "you have an allergy"
  7. I don't like to eat out anymore. I watched all my friends eat at waffle house the other morning. As I set there, I was disgusted at the things I saw. The bread was cross contaminating everything. Ugh
  8. I've always thought all cheeses were safe
  9. So are fries safe at a fast food restraunt?
  10. I am 100% off of gluten. I have made sure that I don't have any contact at all if I can help it. I still break out in these rashes. I don't know what could be causing it. The doctor says it's allergies. I am off gluten, chocolate, and anything with dyes or colors. It doesn't seem possible to live without breaking out in a rash. Sometimes I just wished I lived...
  11. It was immediately. I've been able to touch gluten products and not break out, as long as I wash my hands right after. Now it's gotten to the point that all I have to do is come in contact with it and a rash or hives develops. It use to be just being sick after consuming it. I found out I have low blood pressure. My blood sugar levels are normal.
  12. Over the weekend I touched bread and then touched my neck. I broke out in hives. I have never broke out in hives from touching gluten. Not too long after that I started feeling sick. I fainted several hours later. I know hives is normal but does fainting happen if you come in contact with gluten? Has anyone else had this happen to them.
  13. We have a recreational center that has a full size kitchen. I go in there and cook sometimes. How do you make a fast cupcake or sandwich bun? We have a pizza delivery place with gluten free pizza but it's 13 dollars. I'd rather make my own. I need some ideas of how to do that on a budget. I have gluten free tortillas.
  14. I've had who knows how many specialists before finding out I had Celiac. After my first doctor tested me for two years for various things he told me (I was 17 or 18) I have done every test in the book and cannot find anything wrong with you. As far as I know it's a mystery why you're so sick. Get out of my office. I don't want to see you again. I can't do...
  15. Never seen gluten free pita chips.
  16. After you gain weight, how do you keep it on?
  17. I've had weight issues all my life. It took 6 years for doctors to find out gluten was my problem. I couldn't keep weight on and I was either not hungry or afraid to eat. I eat more now that I am gluten free and still not gaining which is fine for me but my doctors seem to think I need to gain weight. I don't know what to do to gain weight.
  18. my safe foods: rice bananas applesauce eggs mashed potatoes
  19. I've had reactions last a long time. I took a vitamin with gluten in it for a month. Had no idea there was gluten in it until I went to throw the bottle away. The ingredients had changed. So now I make sure it says gluten free. It's been a month since I was glutened and the symptoms are just now diminishing. It seems like the longer you stay away from it...
  20. I'm 25 and have been gluten free for two years. I live in a dorm with five other girls and I want to eat what they are eating. I know that it will make me really sick. It's hard to eat gluten free when everyone around you is eating pizza and people bake sweets and bring them to us. When they find out I can't eat what they brought the only thing that they...
  21. Instantly ulcers appear in my mouth, bloating, diarrhea, vomiting, skin rash (sometimes fine rash, sometimes hives), irritability, anxious, brain fog.
  22. I am in an internship program now that accommodates for my Celiac the best that they can. I get out in May and would like to go to a university. I do not know how they would accommodate for me. If they would need a doctors note or something from the doctor. The doctor that did my colonoscopy and endoscopy said that she saw nothing but I was off of gluten...
  23. I feel like I have been getting bored of eating the same thing over and over. I do not even want to eat sometimes. Is there any way to make eating gluten free fun and exciting?
  24. I'm also a college student living on a limited budget. We have breakfast and lunch provided for us four days a week. On occasion someone will come and cook for us. There are 13 of us. I attend a leadership internship so we are a small group. At first all I could eat was salad, salad, and more salad. They finally bought some gluten free bread so I can have...
  25. I've been gluten free for two years and suffer with those sharp pains also. Still don't know what they are. Will you let me know what you find out?
