    Oats seem to be a common Celiac allergy/intolerance, is probably why. But you should be able to tell all by yourself how it makes you feel. It gets under my skin how Drs treat us like children. You know your body better than they do.

    That's what I thought too but even some of the other brands that weren't mixes would have an allergy statement. I tried to call Corporate and got transferred twice and ended with leaving a voice message, we'll see if they ever get back to me :-/

    Does anyone know if Laura Lynn self-raising corn meal is gluten-free? When I bought it I read several labels. It is not a mix it's just cornmeal. Others all had Allergy statements about wheat.     I did this when u had really bad damage before I found out what I was doing to myself. Did you get glutened around the time it started? Eat out? Could be another food allergy that you've developed. Elimination diet seems to be the best fit here.

It is just my opinion, but trying to force the issue with a restaurant that clearly has no interest in providing safe gluten free meals won't help get safe gluten free meals.     I was diagnosed with acid reflux in my teens and it got to a point were I couldn't eat or drink anything but water without horrible pain!! It had caused sores on my esophagus. I've no reflux on GFD until last night whenI know I got CC.

    Dud you have any improvement on the GFD? You may still have a gluten intolerance and now gluten-free are still consuming foods that bother you. Dairy is usually at the too of the list, but we all have different issues with different foods. No I don't think you "changed how your digestive system works" whatever that means! How do these people get through...

    It does sound like symptoms of Celiac, you may want to try getting tested before you stay on the GFD just to make life easier. Once you go gluten-free and feel better getting glutened is horrible and most of us feel like we can't consume gluten long enough for a test or we may literally die!!     I probably would have left, I would hope I wouldn't make a scene but can't promise that, depends on the situation, my mood, how hungry my baby is! My son and I rarely eat out anymore.
