  1. Whatever, The girl should not have been applying cosmetics in the restaurant.....end of story. The girl should not have given looks or atitude...end of story Lizz, Its not your fault, its the waitresses and managers fault for allowing it to happen...sometimes servers forget they are in the hospitality buisness... 3. Lizzy, At restaurants where the employees are properly trained, guests with gift certificates don't get treated that way. Personally, I have had occasions where guests came in and paid the check w/ the GC and then threw an extra 20% on top of the tip...it goes both ways...regardless, every guest should be treated the same -- otherwise the server has...
  4. You will become healthy when you make the choice between "immediate gratification" and a "healthy gluten free lifestyle" -- right now, you are allowing yourself to get sick because you won't stand up for yourself, to your husband, friends, holidays, etc. If those people TRULY love you, they will understand your situation and help you (beleive me I know...
  5. I used to bartend too (5 years) and I never used hand creme. Perhaps it is a female thing, but there is a difference between basic hand creme and the multi-flavored coconut tanning oil that some girls apply to their skin. In any event, if the product you are using causes the glass to become "dirty" or to smell bad, you ARE DOING SOMETHING WRONG! Personally...

  18. I guess Elonwy is right... I read it a few more times -- she seems to be playing on the word "Intolerance" -- the parity between being intolerant (towards something -- getting angry, frustrated) and food intolerance (not being able to digest it). It is worded poorly, but I understand her humor now -- I retracted my statement on Amazon. Boy...
  19. Here is my amazon review I wrote: I apologize to Ms. Truss for being born. I apologize for existing in Ms. Truss' perfect world. Many of us are "imperfect" enough to have food intolerance and allergies. How silly of us to unite and demand options at restaurants and grocery stores. We should have tucked our proverbial tails between our legs, accepted...

  22. The fries are differently not gluten free (cross contamination with Onion rings and other stuff in the fryer. Its not a real safe place for us to eat (IMO)
  23. Ya know, after 8 years, I still haven't figured out why wheat is in regular soy sauce...its not a thickening agent, it doesn't lend a flavor, not a preserative.... Absolutely no reason I can think of why Soy Sauce should have wheat as the second ingredient (its not a big deal, I buy the wheat free stuff)... Grrrrrrrrrrr......
