    Psawyer, Good liquor is distilled 5 or more times. An average bottle of vodka or rum is almost always distilled at least 3x, but can be distilled up to 20x.     For the first couple months, I had a ton of problems drinking, mostly because it's harder than you'd think to learn all the gluten-free alcohols! If you drank vodka or spiced rum, chances are it wasn't gluten free
