Chris the Celiac, Your right on target! Intense stress 6 months before is a trigger for Heartburn/GERD. We all know STRESS Kills us right...well it maims us FIRST! And that stress you mentioned has been studied to trigger heartburn....which is really your stomach acid getting too low! It takes a lot of energy to make Stomach ACID... -

Chris the Celiac, You might think about changing your name to "Chris the SIBO Celiac" if this works. SIBO is common in Celiac's Here is an article about it.... I just kind of recently rediscovered it....by accident....it is 15+ years old and while numbers (Pcts) might not be quite this high in the article.....it is definitely happening... -

Chris the Celiac, An Endoscopy will show inflammation but it does not measure stomach pH usually unless you had a Pepsinogen test too with your Endoscopy. Here is a study about it, https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/29707078/ The baking soda test is nice home test to at least confirm the suspicion that you don't have enough stomach acid.... -

Chris the Celiac, GFinDC has given you some good advise I think. Try some BetaineHCL it is helpful when your stomach acid is low and it is commonly low in those who have food allergies. Your constipation can be helped by taking some Magnesium Citrate......Pill form....not liquid variety.... I would try the BetaineHCL 3 to 4 with a meal... -

Aitcher, You might try a supplement call N. Acetyl Glucosamine sold as NAG for short. It is commonly used to treat arthritis. Misslee, I agree with Knitty Kitty.... Pale stools usually is a gall bladder problem. The DHHurts, I have been busy with other things so I will be brief... I am not sure this is what it is.....I have found an elimination diet is helpful when you are searching for a needle in a haystack... But you might try leaving off the chicken.....for a while....though it is considered rare.....(we don't really know how often it happens)...
