  2. So I recently just started a job and I love it. On my birthday (the 22nd, and only my 4th day of work) (we celebrated all December birthdays then and it just so happened to be on my birthday) I found out that one of my co-workers also is Celiac, so I talk to him for a while and everyone is like "wow thats really cool that there are 2 people here with this...
  3. Well, I just got a job (just graduated from college and its my first "real" job)..and since I am still somewhat new to gluten free eating (gluten-free since Oct), I was wondering what types of things everyone packed in their lunches for work as I am somewhat out of ideas...thanks so much!

I am in the Austin area as well and I have to second what Mightymorg said...ther Herbery is great and if you do ever make it into Austin on occasion Wildwood Art Cafe (Bee Caves Road.) has plenty of Gluten Free foods..it is one of my favorite places in Austin...also you can order from Kinnikinnick on line...and I have yet to find something from them that...

  8. I know I can find it at most grocery stores in my area, but Whole Foods and types like that carry it too..its right by the pasta..its a Rice based pasta and OH SO YUMMY

  10. People around me think I've gone crazy but I think it is just beause the world is used to people knowing what they are allergic to...and they can't understand how you didn't know before. My friends (whom I see more often as family is far away from me) think I have gone crazy and I think to an extent they just don't know how to take it...as if I'm just on...

  15. Well so far I like their Pizza crusts, their white sandwich bread, chocolate donuts and their montanas chocolate chip cookie.. ALSO Mightymorg where do you find them in Austin?? I have only seen them at the Herberry...any other place you know of?

  23. Triscuits with Easy cheese...you know the cheese that comes in a can that you squirt out...mmmmm it was my favorite growing up my mom let me get it every once in a while as a treat....how I wish that could still be a treat!
  24. I was in the area down there today so I just had to have lunch there...it is just a wonderful place...and I had the Chicken Salad Sandwich, side salad with balsamic vinegarette and took a cookie to go...it was fabulous...the people there are so nice!!!!!!
