  1. Yep, went to the one they just had a few weeks ago...my co-worker has a resale license so we even got to go into the "special" area in the back. Spent a whole bunch of money there too! If the next one is during the first two weeks of December I can't go cuz I'll be cruising Panama, Panama-a {singing van halen song as I type}. Hey, I made 2.7 necklaces...
  2. Just put in a HUGE order at Firemountain! Hope you're hair is having a great time, lol.
  3. Oh yes! Almost daily sometimes, lol. My brain can only process so much at any one time.
  4. Thanks Patti, Julie and Rachel. I don't mind the silliness of it all, it helps me too, but I don't want to see this thread shut down...it has helped me so much as well.
  5. Wait, I have to go look up how to spell heresy...lol
  6. OMGosh, I might not survive, lol.
  7. 1. FIRST NAME? Donna 2. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Um, I don't know, I never asked, lol 3. WHEN DID YOU LAST CRY? last week when three co-workers that I've worked with for years were let go 4. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? yes 5. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? steak, lol 6. KIDS? no, just dust mites to keep healty 7. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER...
  8. Yes...I think I must have close to 150 bracelets now...will try a necklace tonight.
  9. The pills for lactose digestion might help if your problem is with the milk sugar lactose, but won't if your problem is with the protein casein. I definitely have an intolerance to the casein so can't have dairy in any instance. Years ago I tried lactaid milk and pills and they helped a little, but I still had problems and never knew why until I tested...
  10. Welcome Julie!!! I know now you feel about being taken...it really seems sometimes like that's what's happening. I DO think supplements can help some people, but I don't think they're always the answer for some of us. There are several of us here who are struggling to find all the answers. For me personally, I improved a great deal after cutting out...
  11. Glad to hear it all went well Jennifer! Hopefully this is it for testing for a while! I do think it's very scarey for the little ones to be in that strange environment, but I love his comment about being brave, that is priceless!!!
  12. We're trying to keep it on track...just don't always succeed...I'm guilty of that and I apologize! Yes, he is still there. Dr. Adams...I think there IS another dentist there as well, but Dr. Adams works two days a week. (lol, she said that three times because I kept saying "I thought he retired"--I'm telling you she must have thought I...
  13. I'll find out for you, lol...been dying my dark brown for years now... And, re the rashes and whatnot...my hairdresser DOES have some clients who are allergic to the dyes, so she has to kind of rotate them (the dyes, not the clients, lol). I've heard that before from friends too. I don't know if I am or not (so hard to tell), but I can't give up my...
  14. Well, I just made an appointment with Rachel's dentist, lol. October 18th for a mercury consultation. Lady probably thought I was nuts, lol...I wasn't actually expecting to have the number work and when they answered I was kind of dumbfounded, cuz that meant I actually had to speak. Then I said, um, I thought the doctor retired...then said, um, I'm not...
  15. Poor misunderstood Victor (ps, I said Victor on purpose Vincent)
  16. Thanks Andrea!
  17. I have a lot of the same issues...I started getting sick many years ago but it really hit hard about 3.5 to 4 years ago...I had a root canal done about 10 years ago, then after that had several fillings redone and at least two or 2 of my crowns...then I started getting really sick, so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if the dental work hasn't caused at least...
  18. I see a professional, lol. She somehow does it. I ocassionally get more pronounced highlighting done (hence the nearly blonde hair last summer), cuz sometimes I like it chunky, but if I just do my normal thing every 5 weeks, she does the color and somehow I have subtle lights and darks but no gray. I think it's because she just puts the color mostly near...
  19. I always have to sit under the dryer, lol...my hair is stubborn...it wants to be gray and I won't let it.
  20. Me too...although I think I am all the way gray now...don't know, haven't seen natural hair color since my 20s, lol Anyway, my hairdresser managed to get me some blond highlights...in fact for a while last summer I was almost all blonde!
  21. LOL Richard!!! Yep, bought some of the K bagels...fortunately only 4 to a package...but those were gone in mere minutes, lol. Okay, so I went to the website Rachel posted and right there was a list of the symptoms...I think Rachel posted these once before, but I had forgotten what was on that list as opposed to all the other lists that I've seen in the...
  22. Thanks Rachel! I'm definitely thinking I should at least go in and see them...I don't know if mercury could cause the dizziness and the low blood pressure, but I seem to be healthy as far as blood tests are concerned. I've book marked this and will spend more time there in a bit. I ate a frozen cookie yesterday...apparently freezing stuff...
  23. Late to the party as usual, lol. Favorite movies...I tend to like purely entertainment type movies...nothing too deep for me...love action, romance, etc. Favorite movies: The Three Musketeers (with Charlie Sheen and Keifer Sutherland), The American President, Eraser, Broken Arrow, any of Harrison Fords action stuff like Air Force One, Pirates of the Caribbean...
  24. You may be safe. Carla - TOO FUNNY!!!! At least we didn't charge anyone to come to Rachelville, lol. Julie - no worries...I'd seen the other thread and copied the stuff last week!
  25. See, we even Rachel IDEAS, lol!!!
