    Well, I don't know if I can calm you re the needles...I've not had a needle biopsy, but I can certainly pray for you! I have had lots and lots of needle pokes though and many more in my very near future.

    LOL! I've mostly been just reading along. I'm not posting a lot these days...everything is kind of on hold right now...just doing lots of research on the upcoming surgery. Worrying about my CT scan on Wednesday is keeping me busy right now, lol. I have to drink the barium stuff tomorrow night, then more on Wednesday PLUS get an IV of dye. I can't imagine...

    Good luck Rachel! Maybe I haven't noticed the smell because the bottle has a tiny little opening in the top to squeeze it out, lol.

    I haven't noticed a strong smell. It does have a slight "taste", lol. I usually mix it with my smoothie though, so I don't notice it at all, and that's probably why I can take a lot of it.

    I had BioSET done at the same location. I think it did help, but probably moreso in identifying what I should stay away from than actually desensitizing me. I do think it helped desensitize a little, but I think avoiding helped more. That allowed my gut to heal a little more. I've been adding a few things in a little at a time and it seems so have worked...

    Thanks for the info...not long after my post, I did indeed stop my shots. It's been over a year now and I am so glad I stopped them. I was truly reacting every time I got them, since stopping I haven't had any problems with congestion or allergies.

    I am totally freaking out about the IV in the neck, lol. I can't get past that! I've been so lucky with all my surgeons, lol. The doctors in this medical group have all been very personable.

    Andrea, I sent you an email. I really liked the surgeon. He made me feel much better. The surgery is going to be major surgery (he called it "top of the line" LOL), but still not the really scarey one unless he gets in there and can't get the tumor out for some reason. They'll definitely have to reroute the pancreatic and bile ducts, and maybe...

    Thanks Carla...glad you are feeling a bit better! Yeah, I think my uncle and family are probably okay. I don't think they live in a low laying area, so it's just wind (and objects driven by it) damage. I am really worried about the online Galveston friend though.

    Yeah, it sucks! Yeah, I'm glad you're going to get rid of it and that you'll have help, lol. Yes, I used both chlorella and pectin...I much prefer both of these to charcoal. The pectin (Modified Citrus Pectin) was a powder that I got from my doctor's office originally, then found it cheaper on Amazon.
