    Yes, their plaintive howling is very poignant... I wonder if our yeti howls? I've never heard him make any sound. The odd little growl when I had the tape measure near parts he wanted protected, but nothing else...

    We have coyotes out in the prairie provinces, but not around here. We've got little red foxes, and those I love. Our cats have likely tangled with a few of them. And Gus, well....he ain't no ponydoodle! So glad you're back on here, Susie. It can be tough to get out of bed, let alone get online....BIG {{{HUGS}}} HERE!

    Yep...it was a big hit here, and drove me, as well, out of my mind. Too bad...that lead singer has a great voice...and really nice to look at.. So, we've had a record snowfall here. A total of about 45 cm in the last two days (18 inches or so). Gus is plowing through the drifts in our backyard, coming in with HUGE clumps of snow all over him--poodle...

    He's in Tagish, which is a community about an hour and a half north of Whitehorse. He's out in the bush, with about seventy sled dogs. Talk about rustic.....     Yes, I come across this regularly also...those who poo-poo my mention of gluten.     Maybe it's the diabetes, but my favorite(s) are main course, non-sweet pies...tourtiere, chicken pot pie, etc. Haven't had any of those since the celiac diagnosis... grrrrrrrrrrrrr.......

    Superb recovery, Tom. Well done....!! I think most airlines probably have a maximum weight allowance for passengers as well as luggage, and if you surpass the body weight restriction, they tack it onto your luggage.
