  2. Congratulations!! You know from experience that the first trimester is the worst for fatigue, so permit yourself to rest as much as you can!
  3. I finally found Caynon Foccaccia at Whole Foods and it was DELICIOUS!! I can't explain how much I enjoyed dipping it into some olive oil and herbs after lo these many weeks gluten-free.
  4. I think a checkup is in order for wooziness -- it could be something simple like anemia.
  5. I was actually diagnosed because of my anemia. For comparisons, my ferretin was 3. I've had good luck with Vitron C, bringing my iron levels up to a more acceptable level of anemia -- ha! But I am moving in the right direction with the gluten-free diet and supplements. I hope you find a solution, because anemia is underrated in terms of how miserable it...

  8. I struggle with believing I have it, too, despite all of the evidence to the contrary -- how weird are we?? LOL Vent away, and maybe consider finding a professional to talk to if you don't start feeling better emotionally, it can really help, in my experience.
  9. Help! I woke up this morning with a rash of dense tiny bumps throughout my mouth. I don't want to make everything in my ife about celiac disease, but could this be from accidental gluten contamination? If so, is there anything specific I should do? So weird!
  10. I have a similar thing, bottom lip only, and my dermo identified it as actinic cheilitis, and successfully treated it by freeze burning the area.
  11. Yes, I completely agree!! And I suspect an immunologist might know more about an autoimmune disease like celiacs than a gastroenterologist.
  12. I hope she starts to feel better soon!! The gluten-free diet isn't something I would ever volunteer for, but it is surprisingly manageable i this day and age, and I think its a bit healthier -- mainly because processed food and fast food are less accessible. Wishing you both the best.
  13. I wouldn't -- there're newly widely publicized risks with endoscopies because the tubes are hard to sterilize. Its one more procedure you proabably don't need while you deal with the thyroid situation, and the blood tests are very specific. You are the first person to report heartburn and acid reflux as a primary symptom since I've neen here for the past...
  14. OMG following up on the gluten-free dinner I made: my husband has had an EXTREME gastro reaction to the gluten-free food I made, symptoms like food poisoning. Five trips the the BR so far. The kids and I are fine. Anyboday experience something like this????
  15. lol, some good husband revenge recommendations above, which he probably would deserve if he wasnt so CLUELESS! And some good advice. Tonight I made italian meatballs with gluten-free breadcrumbs, gluten-free pasta, and nobody died -- imagine!!! Barilla gluten-free penne pasta seems to defy the laws of nature and actually tastes normal, especilly smothered...
