  1. I'm glad someone had the answer to this, it may me wonder too. BTW I cannot blame you for not wanting to brave Wally World today....I hate braving it on a plain old day, forget Christmas Eve
  2. If you post in the wrong place, on of the moderators will move your post to the right place. So just pick a forum which you think would best fit your post and if it isn't right, we can take care of it. Good Luck
  3. Ruth- that is great you are donating things to the shelter. They will appreciate it.
  4. Oh Raven, sorry to hear that. Sometimes, people have to hit bottom before listening. We have a similar situation in our family (not celiac related) and it took my sister till she hit the bottom before she listened to our advice. How old is your DD? How often do you get to see her and how long with she be staying with you? Will she eat any gluten-free meals...
  5. Hi Everyone! Happy Christmas Eve Morning. I am at work today, only until 2:30 but long enough....I still want to get some more errands done after work, and I know I need to get to the grocery store which is closing 6. I don't mind being here in a way there is only 6 of us in the office. One leaves at 12. So is everyone finished with their holiday preparations...
  6. Sorry to hear about your daughter. Hope everything gets better soon.
  7. sorry to hear the brownies did not turn out well. It is very disappointing....
  8. I know we haven't seen Richard from the silly thread in a long while.
  9. OMG Patti! that is so cool! fluids, and bells and whistles...the whole 9 yards to celebrate. Got all the shopping done, and got John the Portable PSP that he has been wanting.
  10. It is horrible that she has been controlling her diet so well and now the new people in the house are not concerned at all. Is there a way you can talk to them and educate them about CC and your daughters health. It might helps things until they move out.
  11. NYG- New York Giants. John is a big fan but he has enough of that stuff. He wanted a new electric razor but has changed his mind....and since I dont know exactly what type I am lost. Thanks Everyone!
  12. Spangler Candy Canes are gluten free.
  13. Is there a way you could talk to your dr about it. Maybe he could point you to a lab which does the testing. Also entrolabs does celiac screening. I am not familiar with it but many of our members are. Good Luck and Welcome to the Board.
  14. It's a shame isn't it
  15. It is hard when they don't fully understand that a little can hurt....It took John a long time to understand this. Dont get me wrong, he was always supportive but sometimes he would throw the little hint out....you can cheat once in awhile. One night I gave in after a very frustrating week of life events (bad excuse and this was years ago) well I felt so...
  16. I have to agree it is hard to tell. It took me a few years to know which was a glutening and which was a general illness. I know with my glutenings I get a brain fog, where I feel as if my head is in the clouds and I am very irritable. I sleep worse when I get a glutening too.
  17. Any Cape May trips planned in the future, Judy?
  18. So John is out shopping as we speak. I am doing laundry and wrapping some small gifts...Lucky is "helping" too. He is laying on the wrapping paper I spread out and then he tries to play with it so there are some bite marks here and there....if he is not careful I might just wrap him up....anyone want a Coon Cat for Christmas??? I am still trying to figure...
  19. I am trying to wrap some gifts while John is out shopping and the cat keeps laying on the rolls of wrapping paper and putting his paws where I am trying to tape...now he has a bow in his fur! Good Grief!! I am at a loss at what to get John...I got him a NYG shirt and some NYG glasses but that is it. Any general suggestions?
  20. That's great you listened to your heart when you knew something wasn't right. Owen is very lucky
  21. Phyllis thanks for sharing, your salad dressing sounds very good. I might make it later today and use it tomorrow at work.
  22. Poor Yeti, all he wants is to be like us!!! LOL If he doesn't mind rain he can come here, we can meet him at the Train Station.
  23. We are getting a Chik-fil-a in a few months. I cannot wait to go there!
  24. I missed the naked part too! I was too tired last night and fell asleep early before any of the action started.
  25. I know it is hit or miss for me when I get Mcdonalds fries.
