    I am sitting here looking at the calendar and I cannot believe next week is Christmas and in 2 weeks we will be starting 2008. Where did this year go?     I have heard to be careful with those. I know on products that I buy from Wegmans, they are not labeled gluten free, and they appear safe looking, but I noticed when the product contains them it does not get the "G".

    Christmas Shopping ugh....just the thought wears me out. We spent 2 hrs at the mall last weekend and between the crowds and the rude people I was done in!

    Sorry to hear that. Is CPK a chain, like Outback and Carrabbas is the same. Maybe they have another place that might be able to accomodate. I am unsure of this since I have never heard of CPK. Sorry to hear you got this gift. Amanda

    Welcome to the site. I know a lot of members on here have used dietary response as their "test" Some people test negative and feel better avoiding gluten. I hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions you might have.

    The celiac panel I had was drawn on a Friday and I had results Tuesday morning, it was done through AML labs.

    Oh Paula, they sounds like wonderful parents. I am glad you have the bond with your parents, there are a lot of people I know who are not close with their parents at all. My mom is like my best friend. I know how you feel about being lucky.

    I got a script the day of my GI appointment to have blood drawn, they don't have a lab at his office. I took it to work with me that night and had it drawn in the lab.

    There is a place near my parents in this little hole in the wall place which is always dirty....No one is ever in there so I am wondering how they stay in business too....I would never set foot in there before celiac.

    We had a bag of those in our office and they made a nice snack all on their own.. I was suprised they tastes so good. I had my doubts.

    I just got my braces off in the spring, and I had used the rubber bands with no problems. Could she have a latex allergy?

    In my area, I have not had success in talking with staff at Chinese/Japanese places...I wish I could report better though. Hopefully one day. I wish I had a PF Changs near, I have heard some great things about gluten free options there.
