  1. I know personally I look forward to having this drug available. I wish this study was open at my Hospital. I would look at going on to it. Philly and Pitt are too far.
  2. What is nice about Walmart and Wegmans labeling those products, you can buy the store brand and save a few bucks and still have a gluten free product. When I venture to Walmart I use their brand which is good, all other times I go to Wegmans and love their brand, very good.
  3. Odd but most people like to have a recipe to use. To us it seems out of this world since the product is gluten free. Patti brings up a point, most people will look at it as another thing to make on a can.
  4. You brought up a very good point. They should be looking at all the issues which come up with gluten. There are some people who never even experienced the GI issues.
  5. Actually the king is slowly starting to feel better, he went back to work last week. One good thing about the pneumonia..John has quit smoking, and this coming Friday will be 3 weeks!!!! This warm-cold day is annoying. It's going to be December, let it just get cold so we can get used to it.
  6. Clinical trials are very interesting, I work in a hospital doing clinical trials with cancer patients. It is a very itneresting process.
  7. guess we can scratch them off our list Last time I was in Friendlys prior to celiac, the service was lousy and I vowed never to go back....guess I will be standing my ground.
  8. Tom-nope only 10 pages and the end to my reign. I was married during my reign as Queen and my King needs some attention so I must past my crown to the next lucky Queen or maybe a King! A first for Sillyville!
  9. Pebbles are safe for celiacs. Trix varies depending on the formula, they had been switching back and forth a few months back.
  10. Just got this in an email...my funny for the day Little Johnny was 7 years old and like other boys his age rather curious. He had been hearing quite a bit about 'making out' from the older boys, and he wondered what it was and how it was done. One day he took his question to his mother, who became rather flustered. Instead of explaining...
  11. Actually 3 different places, the gluten free aisle itself, the Nature's Marketplace cereal aisle, and the regular cereal aisle. Which is nice. It is very good. I sent them comments on it and got a very nice response back saying how they are very into Celiac Disease and are glad to be able to accomodate us. I always feel welcomed there.
  12. So Patti- have you taken the Yeti to any cool places yet?
  13. One thing that I wish I had learned at the doctor's office was look for gluten in things besides food. Soaps, Shampoos, Lotions....etc. Also watch for CC (cross contaminiation) meaning crumbs on countertops, or wooden spoons, toasters...etc. Hope that helps
  14. Also, if you have a Wegmans, they have a Organic Strawberry Corn Flakes cereal, under their name brand. It is marked gluten free on the box and I have had it, very good. I eat it dry.
  15. Lucky is doing well this week. He just had some cat nip so he is running around happy
  16. Man I missed a bit this last hour or so....almost lost...wait...Lost everyday Ps-I set the Yeti on the train to visit with Patti today. He was hoping to visit more friends in the states and canada. Anyone offering him a place to lay his head?
  17. Dora Stars, Fruity Pebbles, as far as mainstream. PErky O's weren't too bad. I really want to try GLutino cereals, but haven't yet.
  18. We use it in Macaroni salad all the time, Tarnalberry is correct, it is a bit more firm than wheat pasta but I have no complaints. In fact MIL uses it instead of wheat pasta all the time for family picnics, and by the end of the night the bowl is empty.
  19. Paula, I am not upset with you. There is nothing wrong with asking for good thoughts and prayers.
  20. I was never good at math.....still bad at at math. As for English/spelling I was never that great and in 8th grade I had a strict teacher who was tough and taught a lot of material. I learned so much from her, despite her being strict she was nice and made jokes. She never picked favorites and she was teaching things other teachers did not, like Diagraming...
  21. I am going to bury my head for being such a dork....I believe it is past simple passive. Glad to hear others also got the red marks after the shot
  22. Dora Star cereal. Kinninnick K-toos and their brand of animal crackers. Fresh veggies and Fruit Already cooked chicken nuggets Bell and Evan's if you have them near you, then just reheat. Could you make pasta dishes or soups and just reheat them too or are you looking at eating in the car? Hot Dogs Boars Head brand deli meats is gluten free so that could...
