ARCHIVED Progresso Garden Vegtable Soup
blueeyedmanda replied to skinnyminny's topic in Gluten-Free Foods, Products, Shopping & Medications
I don't buy soups in a can, I just am not sure I trust them. I was bummed about it when I first went gluten free but now I get gluten free broths and make my own homemade soup and I enjoy that. I have really started to embrace cooking, and it is actually fun for me now. -
ARCHIVED Welcome Fall

I showed John the picture of the snow in the mountains and he is so jealous! He loves snow. He is already talking about blizzards and snow drifts...things we don't see in PA (well our area of PA) that much anymore. John just is a winter lover! -

I used to watch friends before I met John on TV and then when I finally bought a DVD player when I got my first apartment we would split the money to buy the Season DVDs. I remember having to wait for some of them to be released. Those waits were rough. The last 3-4 seasons are really funny since you could say more racy things on TV so they would talk about... -

Dear blueeyedmanda, I have a whole list! I am also working on my "Not So Deep Thoughts--Mysteries of Life". I was thinking the same thing about the riding the subway topless. Of course, I would probably not get any money, because there is not much to see! I am pear-shaped! I love Joey on Friends! He is so funny! Once, Chandler was talking to him along... -

You go to Hunt Valley don't you? I used to go there but the store where I live in Harrisburg opened 3 weeks ago so it is so much closer. The gluten free aisle is nice and big though. -

The ones I bought with the gluten-free label were some funky flavors too, lime and such but they were in the original yellow package. Interesting. -

My family lives in the mountains in rural Northeastern PA, the leaves are so pretty up there right now. Where I am 2 hrs south of them the leaves are starting to turn now, just in the last week or so. The foliage is very pretty. I love summer the best for the warmth but my favorite fun season is fall, its so pretty and there is so much to do with fall festivals... -
well everyone its that time of the year again, time to say goodbye to the summer and get ready for Autumn. I have to admit around here in PA the leaves are turning and falling but the temps do not exactly say October (tomorrow is the 1st). It was mid-70's here today again. I know the nights are getting cooler but the forecast did say 80 by the end of the...

ARCHIVED Packing Lunch For A Picky 5 Yr Old
blueeyedmanda replied to mama2two's topic in Parents, Friends and Loved Ones of Celiacs
One of our members on here makes their own homemade lunchables which sound good. One of my coworkers has 4 children and does the same thing only with regular crackers since the cost of lunchables times 4 kids is high. You can do apples with PB and raisins. Like a carmel apple only healthier. -

I think they were always ok, just now it is on the packaging. I bought some out of a candy machine the other day and it was not written on that package. So they must have just started the gluten free labeling. -

You know the friends I had in high school are either in jail or just druggies with no brains. There is only two of my friends that made something of themselves, one who is living down by me and another who decided to go to school out of state. Sometimes I wish I was back in school, things were so much easier then....but you know things were not so "Easy"... -

My mom said she used to have a party line. I cannot even imagine that. I do remember my first computer...It was a Tandy, we used to play games on it. There was this neat game called Springster. By todays standards it was way out of date. -
