  3. Hi Everyone! Took an impromptu trip to my mom's yesterday to hit the slopes with my sister. Boy did we have a blast, all powder! We skiied all night, we did the night skiing pass. The temps were perfect so it wasn't cold at all and not too crowded.
  4. Hey Mark- I am not sure the fries at Wendy's are safe, sometimes in the past I would get nuggets mixed in with fries and vice versa (pre-celiac) Something to look into.
  5. I try Have a safe trip and take lots of pictures. It is so neat to see the cultural differences outside the US. Last summer my BIL and his mom spent a month in Germany, the pictures were amazing, especially the ones of the houses and buildings the structures had such neat characteristics.
  6. Sometimes wheat free does not mean gluten free. You might want to see there is no barley or rye or malt in it. I am actually not familiar with this product but that should help you out.
  7. Raven really sums it up. I did away with all scratched up pots and pans. I got my own toaster. I started putting all my special food in one area. I also did a complete organization of all our stuff. It gave me an excuse to purchase the things we had been putting off for years.
  8. We ordered from there last night....I had gift cards from Christmas!
  9. My cat is asleep too, but right next to me...
  10. I don't have any answers, I just want to know if you have room for one more in your suitcase? I make a great travel companion.
  11. Vortex indeed....Susie is hoping she could keep in contact with us whilest the storm bears down upon her....we are her security blanket....be lost without us
  12. I unplug my lap top too. Supposedly if the computer is on a surge protector it is ok....but computers are so expensive I don't take the chance. I had one get fried once....not fun!
  13. OMg Susie, take care of yourself. I was watching the new last night and saw that storm heading your way....Want to fly to a much sweeter place? We have heaps of chocolate here
  14. I am surprised by the grace of the Yeti...he is quite top-heavy, I am surprised that he was able to skate so well.
  15. I always had GI problems, the D, and then a few months before my diagnosis, I was having very bad pain in my left side. I was like a different person, my moods were completely off.
  16. Morning Sillies!!!! Welcome to Friday!!!! Been waiting for Friday all week!
  17. Can't wait to see the Yeti's team picture!
  18. Can someone post a link for me to view the article?
  19. I dont believe it is gluten free, I thought wheat starch was in it. Dont quote me on that though.
  20. How is the Yeti? Has he recovered since New Years?
  21. I can't find the article...I just wanted to read it.
  22. I don't think Fiddle-Faddle was saying you were stupid, she was bringing up a very good point. Many celiac's do not have the common outward signs of glutenings such as the GI symptoms. Some people just have other symptoms that can be passed off as a million other things. It can be referred to as poision in a way that people will understand.
  23. They are made by Kinninick, they are so good! Try the vanilla cream as well. I was impressed.
  24. Either way the Dingo's sure are cute!
