Long story of HEINOSITY!!!! ) FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS LATER (well, Annie got a physical...
  4. What?? didn't know about those symptoms! I assume she WILL be checking, since she got a urine sample and blood tests..... T has been tested for Diabetes before but was found to be slightly Cushinoid instead - - - somehow it resolved itself, but honestly I can't even remember, she has been to the vet SO many times. But after chemo, she was kind of messed...
  5. Thank you Peter, and Lordy, isn't that right. A single girl with her dogs - - pathological, dysfunctional attachment. I love cats, too, and there will be one in our future when Stinker goes.
  6. (raises hand) I KNOW! We print out and send this entire thread to.....let's see......Oprah? Dr. Greene? Lyme Central? Richard Branson? 8. oh my gosh, it's all the letters and numbers, I think. When people throw around their number readings, and letters - - see, I'm so confused I can't even remember. and the "bands" - - that's confusing too......I think that involves letters and numbers. Oh, and the names of the @*$!&*!! germies, all the babs, chlorella (and is that a virus, or a beverage...
  9. Tabasco (is your name Lisa? I am not sure ) - - I think the problem was grinding the flax seeds, maybe? their outer husks are very slippery and slimy.....I used them fully intact when I needed a poopy (hi donna!) experience. Like Kramer said....."wet and WILD!!" (I think that was after he had an enema ) Andrea - - what is the latest on Talitha...
  10. Awwwwwwww, Stinker is very touched that you've been concerned for her. We're back from the vet, and here is the news, although it's not very clear...... Our VERY expensive doctor thinks that she DOES have the vestibular syndrome, it is not a terribly severe case, but significant nonetheless. She did blood work, took urine sample, etc. ...
  11. Tabasco - - I don't know if I"ve written this before on here (dingo'd it if I have ) but there is something that works quite well for me: get some tea, any kind you'd like. Put about 2 tablespoons of flax seeds in - - this is assuming you can tolerate them, of course. Let the seeds and tea steep. The seeds will get slippery and soft......you just gently...
  12. Oh Emily - - I am so sorry about Zoe. These beautiful animals just break our hearts, don't they? ....how is your other dog doing? Well hello Milo and Jess. 15. Hi all (and Sandy - - looking for your input here!) I came home last night to find my older girl, Tika (nearly 13) weaving severely, knocking into things, with her back legs hardly holding her up.....lots and lots of falling, legs splayed out and collapsing fully to the ground. She still has her spark, still smiling, and wanted to play and fetch....
  16. Exciting day here in Rville, another Lymie. Isn't it crazy, we get excited when someone's diagnosed with Lyme? Newcomers reading this would think we're loony...and yet possibly haven't known the length of suffering some of you've endured. Bev, I am SO happy you have this dx - - and yet I sort of felt it for you all along. HOORAY, an official answer...

  18. Hi, I don't have a list, but I do work in an art supply store, and have been working with all kinds of supplies for over 35 years. Let's see....you should be safe with almost any tempera paints (check individual brands but most if not all should be okay), and also with almost any acrylic paints - those are just essentially pigmented polymers,...

  21. OMG.....was just posting a LONG reply, and enjoying all of your musings, and then spilled an ENTIRE glass of freshly-poured red onto my FRESHLY-SHAMPOOED carpets and then also in that instant my nieces called, and are coming by any second to watch season finale of Gray's with me, and so I MUST GO!!! I love you guys. more later. xoxo
  22. Um, how about this - - your primary care doctor (who THANK GOD referred you to a wonderful GI for serious anemia and internal bleeding) says "what is gluten? what is it in?" I broke up with her.
