    I know, the DiscMan is just so.....Amish now, isn't it? I just received a Nano as a gift, about 3 weeks ago, and am obsessed with it. Holds 1,000 songs. Seems to me I do remember hearing, though, that Apple was a little bit evil about the dying batteries of the Ipods, and not replacing......harrumph! Good luck, Rach, and maybe Rice Guy can fix...

    well *I* picked the waffle. dang that thing looked good. But I did the thing twice.....also picked wine and champagne....... picked L'Arc de Triomphe the first time and a hiking trail the second time....but am too tired to do either. they called me a Sophisticat - ha ha - - if they could see me now.

    It feels even MORE isolating in the beginning.....but the longer you do it, it does get better. When I dine out, and I have been able to do it safely quite often, I will speak to the chef or kitchen manager privaely, and just very sweetly explain what the situation is.     ohhhhhhhhhhhh.....lucky you! We have an ancient family cabin near Big Sur, and also I lived in Monterey for seven years, so drove from there to the Sur all the time..........I miss it so much! In the Big Sur/Carmel/Monterey area, you can find many places. Just let me know if you plan to stop there and what you'd like to do. I strongly recommend...

    Hi Denise, adn welcome to the forum! I am bipolar type II also and have had a really crazy life. I was diagnosed a little over a year ago. Within six days of gluten removal, I lfelt quite literally as if I'd emerged from a dense and bleak fog....it was incredible. I maintained this surge of energy for several weeks or months - can't remember now....

    well, frankly, I am kind of bored with the whole lot this year! is it just me? I found the auditions more entertaining than anything else. The boys - - yawn ( though I do like Blake)......the girls.....I don't know, a bit better but not much....we'll see. I think a girl will win this year. But I don't feel strongly about anyone......

    I don't have the scientific research to back me up, and haven't googled it, but I DO know that grapefruit doesn't mix well with many medications - in fact there are warning labels on many prescription bottles stating that grapefruit must NOT be taken with this med. So....could you be taking a med that conflicts with it?
