    That is so funny! I hardly register when I see stalks of wheat - maybe just, oh, the irony....they are decorating with my poison.     Nikki - - we don't own cats, they own US, as you know..... I also had a cat named Lucy....it was Lucy Baines. I named her when I was 3. When I was a teenager, I asked my mom why her name was Lucy Baines.....and she said that when I was little, I loved President Johnson's daughter Lucy Baines Johnson......ha ha ha , it cracks me up for some reason. ...

    If I'm not mistaken, I vaguely remember reading the label in grocery store for Hornsby's Hard Cider, and was sad to see that there was barley malt in it? I could be wrong.....I'll look again next time or search for website....I would love to drink a Hornsby's again.

    OMG......pancake update.......after reading these posts yesterday, I found my unopened bag of Bob's gluten-free Baking Mix......and made my pancakes (adding a smidgen of xantham gum and a bit of vanilla)......holy lord, I was in utter heaven.....they were the MOST delicious little dream-cloud fluffs, cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside and soft on...
