    RACHEL....oh my god. Am sitting here, trying to process this over my rice pudding. OH MY GOD???!!!! I guess I"m both....ecstatic, and only slightly devastated for you.     Hi Dani - My response is almost exactly 12 hours later, and lasts a half-day to a day. SEvere D and cramping - it is fierce and miserable - but then I am fine by that night or the end of the day. Am wondering if something else is going on with you? Can't imagine a glutening lasting that long, but, it IS different for everyone.... blessings.

    there are different tests for RBC....hematocrit measures the volume that red blood cells take up in teh blood - I know mine was extremely low before dx, doctor said that the cells had gotten smaller - i.e., low hematocrit. I was severely anemic before dx, and am now closer to normal....but I can't remember the normal range for all red blood cell levels...

    It's Dr. Mehmet Oz - I bought his book last year, before celiac dx....it makes me SO mad! Dr. Oz is the one to whom we should direct our letter campaigns, I think. Evidently we've all barraged Oprah with emails (I just sent another last week!) and she ignores us....so maybe we should target this doctor, as she listens to him.

    well now Lisa THAT was quite funny. Evidently I am #6 Barbie. With the peeling-skin cream adn all..... THE BULLDOGS LOST!!!! ....by one point and I am ecstatic.....could not contain my joy whilst at the pub and everyone knew I was rooting against the 'dogs...though they didn't know why......     Hi Julie!! Glad you could make it! colorado was last week, it's Utah this week (funny that I"ve never followed the 'dogs so closely until now ) I am going to go into the pub where my niece works. Would it be really awful to wear a t-shirt with a bulldog logo with a big black circle and line through it? my lovely symbol could speak for itself...
