  1. tried that.... not as good, the sesame seeds need to be baked or taste quite bitter! in my test batch made about six bars - half are gone tummy's a little tender - LOTS of fiber in these bars!
  2. I am quite convinvced I am hypoglycemic, however this seems to have improved as I've gotten older. AS a child, I used to almost black out when hungry - used to start crying and throwing a fit and my mom knew to feed me. Have even had a couple of boyfriends tell me this - - a direct quote from one of them: " I find if we FEED you, things go much better ...
  3. Thnx Vincent - am getting tested again....also thyroid.....I was severely anemic before, numbers were going up, I KNOW I'm not that bad now. BTW cannot help you with potty training - unless your child has four-legs, lots of fur and would like to lift his leg when he pees..... so....tired.....want to sleep...................all day..............

Haven't had New Grist, but just met the new brewmaster from Bard's at the Celiac conference at Stanford, he did say that the alcohol content was higher now (close to 6 percent), I tasted it and promptly bought a six-pack. I think it quite tastes like normal beer.....and there is very much beer in my past so I did feel somewhat adequate to judge.

  16. Jenny - it has been really up and down for me also, I am 8 months gluten-free. Initially felt fantastic, then crashed, up again for the longest period of well-being in my life, then a crash again....I have heard that it can take up to two years to completely recover, but can be less time when you're younger. Are you eating lots of processed/packaged...

  18. Carla - silly you, Whole Paycheck is what we call Whole Foods! So you go to Whole Foods/Paycheck and just go to their gluten-free section, get the Sandwich Bread.
