    Steve - you're talking Euro wines here - average consumer in US is drinking wines from California, if they're American-made. Most people walk into a grocery or liquor store and choose by - not kidding here - what the label looks like and by price - most people want a decent everyday wine for under $10.     Evie....you sweet lady....I have heard that heart meds can cause depression/apathy....many heart patients (including my mom) take antidepressants for that reason.... planting....ugh....I did some planting yesterday and this morning (rain next week) but feel no pleasure, as I used to find in the garden.     IN Central California, everyone says "going to the coast" (and could mean any beach in Central coast of CA) and for some reason it drives me crazy....probably because it's SO over-used in Match.com by Central Californians - "love going to the Coast....holding hands on the beach...."     Hi Julie! The corn chips were from TArget - I think Archer Farms and they should be fine. I am pretty sure it was the guac - there is vinegar in it - - for the life of me I can't remember the vinegar situation and what is safe. But I really thought I've had this guac before - who knows. Northern Italy is my favorite place in the world.....sigh....

    oh, would that it were so...... Donna - - - Men and women as friends.....my humble opinion....it works quite well in youth (high school, college, beyond that a bit) and is much more difficult as we age. whoever said on here that men were scared....so true. They approach it as a "friends" thing, but in my life, they were always interested...
