BUT...my neighbor had about half a ton of leftover pea gravel, which her nephew and I carted and shovelled into my side/back yard, where those lovely trash cans...

    Hi! just putting in my two cents here... Trazadone, in a low dose, can work well (in my own experience and wtih others I know). The night sweats....I am nearing menopause, but since going gluten-free, I no longer have them. I take different things for sleeping now...also was on klonepin and that is very addictive stuff, quit that quite a while ago...

    OMG Eight Below...my friend and her daughters left this in tears in the first 10 minutes, went into another theatre, they slipped back in for the end, said it was wonderful but once I heard that, knew I couldn't go - - all those dogs left alone!! Remember, this is the girl who was forbidden to watch Lassie when it was on.....got grounded from it as started...

    Welcome Helena - you are quite young and should do well! Your grandfather....classic celiac symptoms. I don't see why he wouldn't see improvement - perhaps not full recovery - by removing gluten. At the very least I think his skin condition would clear up, and that's something. I also think his intestinal processes would improve, though he might never...

    Bev - this sounds awesome! We had a family trip to BC when I was about 12, and I"ve never forgotten the beauty of that place. I will definitely make it a travel stop someday....good to know! how are you feeling? you sound better!
