  1. The ovaries...old, chemically/medicinally fried eggs in there..... First need a man, I don't care what that other thread says about not needing the male, I will want one for that.....oh, and I'm done looking, so God himself has to send the guy to me when it's time! thanks Julie, Floridian, Patti and Andrea for all the encouragement about these...
  2. We've got to get him on our board.....you know, in all his free time..... Oh Iwrote an email to Oprah today about Celiac and how aghast I am that she has not addressed it....wonder how many of us have emailed her??
  3. Oh my gosh, I gotta go also, Rachel's Slumber Party/Chatroom Girl Talk Thread is posing to be a huge excuse to avoid doing all the work and projects I have to do.....excellent and fun time - waster (well not that it's wasted time but you know, so much to do around here and can't just laugh and e-chat all day!!) And Andrea, you are so right about Sarah...
  4. WHAT???? so there is still hope for me? (44 years old) Now that I'm gluten-free and not drinking, I think that my, um, selection process for dating candidates will be MUCH healthier than before...... but I had totally ruled out having children....problem is, I really want grandchildren!!
  5. Know the type well, Picard....lived in Monterey for 7 years, dated a couple of Seals, all kinds of military officers and instructors (Naval Postgraduate School), a Marine Harrier pilot (Marines are the craziest of all - dating-wise)....a British rugby player/Naval officer - - - -he brought BOTTLES of wine into the movie theatre - many years of insanity...
  6. Hey, we're still helping Rachel, it's just that we're having a sleepover now, eating potato chips, and talking about boys and stupid things some of us did while drinking!
  7. Oh no Chelsea, Girls Gone Wild... Must say I am glad not to be drinking any more....don't have any piercings, just many emotional scars from ridiculous men that I mistakenly chose...... OH yeah, have wondered about this as I have discussed openly my myriad issues...... Only no one knows what my board name is..... Um, yeah...
  8. I only WISH that eating chips was the worst thing I did while drinking.....
  9. So I'm gone for like six hours and missed the party...... Sitting here in my pj's with a bowl of mangoes, all by myself (couple of dogs here)..... *sniff* now goign to open the bag of potato chips.....me, not so much in potato chip denial....
  10. Clever girl... BTW you only need one phone line for DSL.
  11. I remember when we used to put beer on our hair in high school....what was that about? Now you can too, Turtle, since it's gluten-free!
  12. Rachel - - just call SBC and ask what is the best deal they can give you. Tell them your friend gets everthing - caller ID, call waiting caller ID, and one more feature (I think I have call forwarding but don't use it), PLUS DSL, and unlimited long distance. It's soo-per! Also - ask them about their "bundle plans" they were advertising a while ago. Don...
  13. Her hair looks great, no pubes, is she using the Rosa Mosquito (or whatever the heck it's called) as well?
  14. look at that gorgeous kitty!!!!!!!!! oooooohhhhhhhhh I want to scratch the top of her heahd!!!!!!!
  15. Patti - - do you not have an unlimited long distance plan? My whole phone bill is $55 a month, covers DSL, all phone services, and unlimited long distance (in the US) - - - can't live without it as friends are scattered everywhere....just think, you could call your sister all the time! Rachel - - - hope it's a fruitful appointment!
  16. but the pubes are so hard to tame! I am slathering things on constantly....oh and the other thing, all the new hairs that grew in? They are now about two inches long or more, and they're just sticking out all over the place. Kind of a scary phase! I use the BEST conditioner of all - get it at Sally's, L'Oreal Nature's Therapy in a big tub, leave...
  17. Many many extra gold stars for you today Julie!!! But if you saw me up close.....and right now, with gray roots....
  18. Bev - I think you're younger, your hair still looks great (I'm 44).... where do I get this Rosa Mosqueta?? Need it TODAY!! Will it make my hair greasy?
  19. Jen - what is Rosa Mosqueta and will it control the wildness of my rather pubic-like grays ( sorry but that's what they kind of are) that are coming in???
  20. NO WAY! Rite Aid? I will check. On their website they listed just one retailer in this town - I will make the trek if Rite Aid doesn't produce....
  21. And don't you just wander the aisles, and the websites, and look at magazine ads and think, I just KNOW there's that one Holy Grail of hair products that is the solution to my hair.....WHERE IS IT?? Which one?? OH magic bottle of perfect hair elixir, just throw yourself at me from your perch on the shelf, so I will know you are THE ONE!
  22. thanks Psawyer, that's just what I meant! And Jen - - more good stuff. We should just automatically send these links to everyone who's new.
  23. does this *have* to be done in a rice cooker, or will a covered pan work? I'd like to try it....
  24. Oh I always have time to waste, Julie....I checked out the website, yes, quite the production! I found a retailer here in town and I may try it. My hair - - - the most perplexing thing.
