  1. Yeah, I actually think it was this brand that I saw...the packaging was so similar. I hope my store gets the new ones in soon!!
  2. Definitely stay away from it!! I actually can not tolerate any soy lecithin, or soy oil at all. Even a tiny bit, and I'm sick and have a rash with hives. I guess everyone's tolerance is different on that, but I'd stay away from tofu for sure!
  3. Oh that's awesome!! I actually just saw some rice cheese the other day (not sure what brand) and I was so mad that there was casein in it!! I will be trying this for sure!! Thanks for the heads up!!
  4. Thanks! I guess it's silly to believe a website and carton of a box that says "gluten free"! I just really thought after reading the site, contacting them, and having gluten free on the carton was enough. I guess I'm back to not trusting anyone anymore! (I read on the chocolate chai milk package, it did state that there was 0.02ppm of barley in...
  5. Horsegirl, Oh, if I could've reached through the phone and smacked him, it would've been awesome!! I really do not understand why people without the allergies/intolerance are so defensive about it either! It's like they make it a point to pretend it's not a big deal, when it really is! I'm going to continue my hunt for ice cream too!! Good luck...
  6. Wow, that looks yummy! THANK YOU!!
  7. Actually, Rice Dream now states that all of their non-dairy beverages are gluten and soy free. I tried the new Vanilla Hazelnut Supreme today in my coffee, and YUMMY!! No reaction either, belly and skin were fine. (I break out in a rash with soy too.)
  8. Oh I know, it's absolutely so frustrating!! I liked the Carob Almond by Rice Dream. The last container I bought, did not list soy lecithin on there. On the website, it now lists it as an ingredient. Sooo, I called them, to see if they either A) reformulated, or always had it in there and never listed it. The response was...well, horrible. The guy ...
  9. Hmm...that's a good question! I guess I haven't really had any other legumes very much. I also think once I cut out soy, well, I've been too scared to try em! I don't remember reacting to them a while back, but I didn't know it was soy I was reacting to back then either; like what you went through. I'd just keep a close eye on it if you do have them,...
  10. I can not tolerate any soy at all. Even a tiny bit of soy lecithin makes me break out in a rash, sometimes with hives, as well as very unhappy belly. Soy is in everything, in my opinion, it's much worse than dealing with gluten sensitivity. But now that I haven't knowingly had soy for 4 months now, it's amazing how great I feel! (I've had it accidentally...
  11. I'm going to go and look for that! I haven't been able to have a yogurt in ages!! (I can't have gluten, dairy, or soy either!) Thank you for posting this!
  12. Well, if you get irritated by soy or casein, I'd steer clear of them in everything. I break out in hives/rash whether I ingest soy, or put it on my skin. I've been using the Fiji organics, as there is no soy or gluten in them. I love their pineapple coconut lotion and soap! Open Original Shared Link (I'd call them to make sure, but I believe they are...
  13. Yes, it is the bar soap; thank you for bringing that up! I didn't realize I forgot to put in that part. I'll have to take a look for your Clinique post.
  14. I've been contacting Clinique and M.A.C., as those are my two favs. Here are the ones I've found out to be gluten free. (Also soy free unless otherwise stated) (Both Clinique and M.A.C. consider wheat, rye, barley, oats, soy and corn to be a gluten, and M.A.C. also includes rice as a gluten) Clinique: (1-866-707-2100 to call for ingredient info) ...
  15. If you had an allergy test that even gave a hint of soy intolerance, I'd sure give it a try!! Honestly, at first, I was really overwhelmed with it all. No gluten, lactose, or soy for me, and the only meat/poultry I eat is chicken. So, right now it's eggs and gluten free toast/cereal for breakfast with fresh fruit, then lunch meat with some Kraft cheese...
  16. I went to my local super Wal-Mart last night, and no luck! They didn't carry any gluten free items. There is a much larger one north of me though, might have to give it a try, those prices you guys listed sure would make it worth the drive!! Just thought I'd let people know it doesn't seem to be "all" Wal-Marts, and this one just opened about 4 months...
  17. Sorry that you aren't feeling well and so itchy! I can tell you that I've had reactions to antibiotics as well, and it always seems to be two weeks after I start taking them that a rash and/or hives develop. So, that could be a possibility. I know it did take me a good 4-6 months before my stomach was feeling better after being gluten free. The...
  18. I'm not much of a drinker....but I do really like Ciroc Vodka on occasion. It's made from frost grapes, and distilled five times, so no worries!
  19. First, I just want to thank all of you for how much you help each other! I've been a member for over a year, but haven't posted yet. I've been gluten free for almost two years now, and in that time, I guess a lot of my new food choices ended up having large amounts of soy in them. I'd always had some soy here and there, maybe a Starbuck's coffee with...
