  1. Sorry if this has already been suggested, but I have made a spagetti pie/casserole succesfully gluten-free, and it's great as a pot luck, covered dish to take to a sick friend or mom who just had a baby, etc. I used Paula Deen's Baked Spagetti Recipe: (The only substitution I made was with Tinkayade pasta, I used fettucini. Once I made it with jarred...
  2. This isn't pumpkin pie-like, but it's pumpkin! I used the Namaste Spice Cake Mix and added in a generous cup of plain canned pumpkin puree to the batter and then baked according to directions in a 9 x 13 pan, it came out great! Tasted just like pumpkin spice bars. For the dairy eaters top with cream cheese frosting, to die for!
  3. Hi Janet! Yes, I made this several times last year around Christmas and New Years with success. Pamela's Bread Mix worked great for me, I also succesfully made cinnamon rolls with it. The dough is a little sticky and tricky to work with but I kept some plain rice flour near to flour my hands and sprinkle on the dough so it would cooperate, and...
  4. I've tried Amy's Gluten Free Rice Crust Pizza (crust is rice and sunflower seeds) a couple of times and it comes out crispy for me also. I baked it on a cookie sheet, the first time it was a little soft but I tried it again and cooked it longer than the directions say until it crisped up and the cheese browned a little around the edges. I also added...

It really makes a difference in the end result. I usually make chocolate buttercream frosting on Pamelas Chocolate Cake Mix, but it sounds like you are wanting to do a white cake...

  9. Carla, I saw your post about this in the Baking section and I actually tried the pumpkin blondies out, pretty good but mine came out a little rubbery (I am baking at high altitude, so I am not sure if that makes a difference). The spice cake mix with the spices really make a statement, and then the added pumpkin I used made them taste just like these...

  17. Does the fact that cocoa in chocolate is a vasodialator enter the equation in any way? I'm wondering if the pressure is somehow relieved by the blood vessels dialating You'll get there, I just know it, you have so many pieces of the puzzle accounted for and in place, it's just a matter of time
