  1. Like Tim in VA, I make gluten-free corn bread from scratch. I make a double batch (for a LOT of stuffing!!), cut it in to bite size cubes and leave it out over night to dry out (or put on a cookie sheet and toast it a little bit in the oven). Then I use as a foundation an old Wild Oats Dressing recipe with celery, onions, butter (or olive oil for a...
  2. This recipe looks promising!
  3. These are from the recipe section on this site: https://www.celiac.com/articles/440/1/Pumpk...Free/Page1.html https://www.celiac.com/articles/434/1/AJ039...Free/Page1.html
  4. My green beans with marinade/vinaigrette recipe: 1/4 c lemon juice 1/4 c olive oil 1 tsp gluten-free dijon mustard 1/2 tbsp dried savory 2-3 cloves garlic pressed or minced 1/2 tsp sea salt 1/4 tsp ground pepper 1 1/2 lb green beans Combine all marinade ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Steam green beans until tender. Toss green beans with...
  5. I don't have an exact recipe, but it sounds like a roasted root vegetable dish would work with these specifications. You can add any veggies you like, sweet potatoes, parsnips, turnips, onions, carrots, zuchini, etc, cut into uniform 1 inch pieces, toss with olive oil, sea salt, and fresh herbs (or dried), then you just roast in the oven. Also I'm thinking...
  6. That's ok, what are a few years here and there! It's always nice to put a face to the name
  7. I love the new avatars! Sarah, is that you? You look so young! Janet, is that your daughter? She is adorable! Bev, love the new pic of you and hubby! Patti, so Marie is in, Jennie is in, and Cameron is out?!?!?! Shocked the heck out of me.
  8. YIKES!!! Yeah, I read through all the testimonials and most reported back things just like this...and more!
  9. I haven't tried whipping coconut milk, but I've thought about it! There's a special gadget advertised on tv that will whip air into any liquid and turn it into "whipped" whatever. I immediately thought of coconut milk when I saw this. I don't know if it will work with just a hand blender but it might be worth trying.
  10. From what Carla and rinne have repeatedly said, I understood lyme was also largely a clinical dx (am I remembering that right girls??). I guess I am thinking the LLMD would take into account your GI and iron issues and might help you with that as well, killing several birds with one stone so to speak.
  11. Carla, Is whey free of casein as well?? Kassandra, It takes so long to get into the LLMD, even if you don't have your Igenex test done yet it might be beneficial to go. They can do other things, get your history talk about your present health picture, etc, then when the test comes in you will be good to go and you can start treatment asap. Am...
  12. Rachel, thanks Work those jeans Carla, even if they are too big! You have to since you paid so much for them!

  16. I haven't used the Amaranth bread crumbs before, and haven't heard anybody's review of them, but...just a thought....sometimes the cooked finished product tastes great and nothing like eating them raw/plain/straight out of the package. Before you throw them away you might want to do a test run with something, it might surprise you!
  17. That is much too much time spent on packing eBay items Hugh must have commitment issues, or issues of some variety...... I was thinking "favorite phrase" was something you say all the time , so in the e-mail I said I didn't have a favorite phrase ....which is so not true, I have MANY! At the moment...
  18. I don't know why I didn't think of a mix, DUH! Namaste has a great brownie mix also, you use oil as the fat. *Pamela's Brownie Mix and gluten-free Pantry Truffle Brownie Mix both have chocolate chunks added tot he batter so they are out if you are eliminating soy lecithin.
  19. I LOVE Colin Firth I LOVE Hugh Grant too!! The funniest thing ever in Bridget Jones's Diary Edge of Reason: Open Original Shared Link
  20. Me too I'll say it , I think she is going to win! She was very good last night and stepped it up a HUGE notch. I think Marie might go tonight, and it might be tough for Jennie Garth to catch up.
  21. Rachel, good to see you again!! I was wondering where you had disappeared to. Great news that your body is doing its thing with the chelation

  24. Just make sure you get a pure witch hazel extract. FYI everyone: for children this remedy must be diluted. Has anyone heard of Immune Science Labs? Or something like that? There are tests that can pinpoint exactly what part of your immune system is deficient/excessive and where your health problems stem from??
  25. Well it might be too much for you then. Witch Hazel has astringent, styptic, and anti-inflammatory properties What I did, and there may be a more scientific way of doing it, was take a wash cloth and got it damp with water and then put it in a microwaveable safe bowl and poured some witch hazel on it. Then I microwaved it for about 30 seconds until...
