  1. Good morning all! Rachel, that was quite a "relevation" I do hope you are on to something. I think everything is worth trying, all of the foods you try have been making you sick so you have to keep changing it up until you find some things that don't make you sick. Best of luck with that. I second Donna, eat some ice cream for me, because...
  2. This is how I was raised, Andrea, to address my elders as Mr. and Mrs, or Miss. I still call them that even though I am an adult now too, it's hard to break habit.
  3. You are a good egg. I get the respect part of the term, I know that people are more often than not using it in that way. It's just a little hard hearing it for the first time, and then from there on out. I always considered my mom to be the ma'am, and then when I became one, it's just a reminder that we are getting older, that's all. Carla...
  4. Yeah, I guess he kind of was cute, a little older, mustache, really muscular, uniform, a gun strapped to his side, his hot ride with the flashing lights, shall I go on...
  5. Me too Patti, but I think it's because of the curl for me. I just never have figured out how to work with it, most of the time I am working against it, and that isn't good... Thanks for all the tips Nikki for the frizzy hair
  6. yeah, I didn't like so much my first ma'am. It was around 30 for me, and I thought wait a minute, when and how did this happen? Ma'am? And now ever since, I am a ma'am. A couple months ago I was called "hun" by a cop. I didn't know how to take that one....
  7. This is perfect rinne, aka having an OMG moment in Rachelville!!!
  8. You have a gem of a hubby indeed Andrea
  9. When I am reacting to foods (not just wheat, but dairy and processed packaged foods/lots of grains does it for me too) and I amass a lot of swelling (rapid weight gain) I have this type of pain. It's like it hurts to be touched or to wear clothes, to even lay down because the weight of my body on myself hurts, if that makes sense? It goes away for me...
  10. trying to get back on topic.... MiaMia- I'm also excited for you starting the new meds. Best of luck with it, and do keep us posted! evie- I am so glad to hear the good news about your husband's test results. What a relief Andrea- I had a problem with rice too. I just got in the habit of eating it every day in some form, and I don't think...
  11. Donna. We can have regular Bumble Bar anonymous meetings, just for you!
  12. Yeah sorry, that's me, G U I L T Y I just couldn't help myself. The geese just kill me, protective auxigro detecting geese......
  13. You all were talking about grand plans for elaborate gardens and decor, I figured then we must have a float. I like your idea better. I'll just put on my Walmart "Rachelville" vest with the the little button, "my name is.." and the back says "Ask If I can Help", and stand at the front gates and smile, and wave, and say Hello, and Welcome to Rachelville...
  14. Our geese are so highly skilled and trained. Not only can they detect auxigro, they keep us safe from all kinds of poisons and toxins that threaten to enter our healthy clean environment. They keep all the "loonies" out and all of those clearly of sound mind in. Plus they have the ability to fly and swoop in pretty formations. I guess you could...
  15. Exactly! If they didn't think we were nuts before this would really do it. I think everyone is so funny and I can't believe some of the stuff everyone came up with. It makes me laugh I had a vision of myself as the "Rachelville Greeter" standing on a float, you know like one of those parade floats, and it had been hitched up to the back of one...
  16. I know! Today I had flash through my mind about the protective auxigro detecting geese. Protective auxigro detecting geese!!!!!!!!!
  17. I hardly recognized the place today, doctor appts., GI advice, stool samples, itchy skin reactions. Back to reality I guess. I'm sure glad you aren't tasting your samples Rachel Susan, I'm sorry about the loss in your family.
  18. Thanks for posting this! Dairy free and soy free, that seems to be a rare find. I'm going to look for these.
  19. hmmm, even the celiac board has a troll. Imagine that... Habsfan, I hope you get to the bottom of it soon so you can feel better
  20. I just wanted to add that I'm so glad you were able to go to a walk-in clinic and see a doctor. I don't have any info for the other questions you have, hopefully some others will come along and post. If you feel like it's going to do the same thing as the other night when it closed up don't hesitate to take action. Hang in there!
  21. There you go! Good plan
  22. Best of luck to you jenny
  23. Patti!! I love your picture, gorgeous I also never look when I am getting a shot or blood drawn. I don't want to see the needle going in, or the blood being pulled out- I think I would pass out if I did look. Mango, I'm not sure about the sustainable farming and auxigro. Will have to look into that. Are you planning on taking up farming...
  24. yeah, our community seems to change in tone from time to time, a mixture of The Waltons, Stepford, Pleasantville, Little House on the Prairie, Lost, the town in "Edward Scissorhands"..... nikki-uk, welcome to the craziness. The more the merrier There are plenty of jobs to go around!
  25. I was going to say, can you imagine having bathroom duty in this community of celiacs. I will be conveniently absent when that job is given out.
