  2. [My hubby teases too. One of our daughters called recently and he told her that I was on the COMPUTER again. He is very supportive, told me not to worry about buying special foods (the higher costs). He was very concerned when I was very sick, could not stop losing weight just a few months ago. Yes, he is a kepper too. I am taking care of him now, he is taking...

  4. You are so right on Autism and schitsophrenia, I completely agree/ you. bully 4 you I know of a boy who started regressing soon after 1 year and a man who probably was showing signs of scitsophrenia by age 19. I hope there will soon be more research on theses problems as well as celiac disease. evie

Turtle; Our oldest daughter and our granddaughter have both been going to WW for a bit over a year. daughter has reached her goal and maintains but her daughter is not quite as motivated, partly because her husband is mainly a meat & potato guy. i think they are on the point system. Neither of them are gluten free so have no ideas on that. Since they...
  6. I am really glad you posted that article!! I eat amaranth pancakes + cooked cereal, cooked cereal from millet, buckwheat, quinoa and ground wild rice. also make buckwheat pancakes, corn muffins and have several alternate flours to try soon. 7. kelly....my husband & I both have had sjogrens disease for several years, we use eye drops and i am so thirsty most of the time. I keep a thermos of water nearby, do not drink hardly anything but filtered water. I wonder if this problem also fits in with celiac disease? If you notice I do not capitalize much it is my keyboard not responding correctly...
  8. barrilla, this is a bit differnt than your question but I read somewhere that most celiacs are O's. with adding myself as O blood type the posts add up to 11 0's and 6 A's and B's, so this is around 1/2. Have a good day all, evie

  12. Susan, I have had that problem for over a year, even before Celiac problem and have found no reason for it. recently had to go on antibiotics for it, just about over it now. Have a theory of inhalant allergies being the cause, my worst times are spring and fall. that theory of our antibodies being the cause sounds likely...no antibodies against it?? ...

  17. [Welcome to the board chick2ba; I have been on the 4 day rotation diet for longer than 4 months, I think it is helping me. I had a LOT of diarrhea THAT LEAVES YOUR INTESTINES OPEN TO LEAKAGE OF TINY PARTICLES OF FOOD TO ENTER YOUR BLOOD STREAM. you divide your proteins into 4 days (some use 7days), also veggies, fruits, non gluten grains if you dare,...
  18. bklyn..I had the capsule camera test 2/20/06. Swallowed the capsule @ 6:30 am, ate a light lunch then visited an allergist. was rather bulky but no problem, was told not to go into certain store because of security equipment there. since I was having much D then i passed it the next morning. My insurance paid for it but next gastroenterologist did not accept...

  21. Dani; add me to the list of many who were told I had IBS by various dr's for many years. If I had known the reason for my extreme constipation @ times then later "D" I might be a healthier person now!!! but I suppose GP's do not know all those things. But I was in & out of hospital in late 80's with diarhea under care of a gastroenterologist, he...
