  1. Thanks for your answer Ursula!! I really did not think lamb and beef were from the same family. I wonder why we both seem to get allergic to fruit so easily, could it be because of the natural sugar? I do have a few more I can eat than pears but I sure do enjoy them. I have noticed that if I really like something it is quite possible to get allergic to that...

I am on a 4 day rotation diet to keep from developing more food allergies and need to know where lamb fits in the protein families, hope it is not beef. years ago I followed this plan and was able to get over BAD diarhea (dropped weight to 104 Lbs) and got off the special diet. Took a few years...
  3. [ mine went smoothly last fall (colonoscopy) + (endoscopy), they did not show intestinal damage so I swallowed a capsule camera late Feb. 06, It did show damage in small intestine. the gastro Dr. who ordered that said Celiac but he sent me on to University hospital and that Grastro Dr. does not accept capsule camera diagnosis so he says I am presumed "Celiac...

I have just the opposite...had tests just a few weeks ago that showed too fast emptying of my stomach. so am now eating 5 to 6 times a day with small meals, also am to do most of my liquid drinking between meals. that is not to easy to do! but has helped me, have less diarrhea. That is very important to me and am now gaining a bit of energy! after much...
  6. Ordinarily I watch House but did not get to last night, so glad so many of you did. house is a very caustic person but am glad the show brought out some of the important issues of Celiac disease. they seem to becoming more prevalent or Drs are able to diagnose more. We need to have much more public understanding of the BIG problem. evie
